Methods for preparing coating compositions for protecting oilfield operational components
Coating compositions for coating an oilfield operational component, and related methods, may include in some aspects a coating composition having a trifunctional silane, a silanol, and a filler. The coating composition may be applied to a surface of the oilfield operational component that is configured to be exposed to a fluid. The coating composition may be applied to at least partially cover or coat the surface. The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.

Corrosion-Inhibiting Coatings for Metal Mesh Gaskets and Metallic Particles
A molybdate solution is disclosed from which molybdate oxide coatings may be derived on metal particles or metal mesh. The coated metal particles may then be combined with a film forming binder and, optionally, corrosion inhibitors to make a corrosion composition. The coated metal mesh may then be used in making gaskets that inhibit corrosion.

Water-based treatment solution, chemical conversion treatment method, and chemical-conversion-treated steel sheet
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a water-based treatment solution which makes it possible to form a chemical-conversion-treated coating film having further improved corrosion resistance. The present invention relates to a water-based treatment solution for a chemical conversion treatment of a steel sheet or a plated steel sheet. The water-based treatment solution contains an organic resin including a fluororesin, a Group-4A metal compound, and at least one binding promoter selected from the group consisting of dimethyl adipate, diethyl adipate, di(iso)propyl adipate, di(iso)butyl adipate, dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, di(iso)propyl phthalate and di(iso)butyl phthalate.
Coating liquid and method for manufacturing thermoelectric member
A coating liquid includes aluminum phosphate, a nonionic surfactant, and water and/or water-soluble solvent that dissolves or disperses the aluminum phosphate and the nonionic surfactant. An amount of the nonionic surfactant is preferably 1 vol % or more and 10 vol % or less. The nonionic surfactant is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of ester, ether, alkylglycoside, octylphenol ethoxylate, pyrrolidone, and polyhydric alcohol. Applying such a coating liquid to a surface of a thermoelectric member, and drying and firing the coating liquid enables formation of a dense antioxidant film containing aluminum phosphate on the surface of the thermoelectric member.
