Conductive coating composition and heating system
The present invention relates to a conductive coating composition (known as heating paint) having high efficiency, which composition can be applied to substrate surfaces for efficient generation of heat from electrical energy, and to a method for the production thereof. The conductive coating composition comprises a silicate salt and particles of expanded graphite which are dispersed in the silicate salt, wherein the graphite is present in a hexagonal and/or rhombohedral crystal structure having crystal lattice planes extending in parallel and silicon is embedded between the crystal lattice planes of the graphite.
Self-lubricating coating composition
The invention pertains to compositions comprising at least one polymer or precursors thereof, at least one liquid medium and a plurality of microcapsules having a cross-linked polymeric shell and a core containing at least one (per)fuoropolyether compound comprising a (per)fluoropolyoxyalkylene chain being a sequence of recurring units having at least one catenary ether bond and at least one fluorocarbon moiety.
Impact resistant coating compositions, multi-layer coating systems, and substrates at least partially coated with such compositions
A curable coating composition includes: (a) a binder having a film-forming resin with at least two functional groups, and (ii) a curing agent reactive with the functional groups of the film-forming resin; and (b) solid vulcanized rubber particles that are unreactive with the binder. The curable coating composition is a solid particulate powder coating composition. Multi-layer coating systems, coated substrates, and methods of preparing the curable coating composition are also disclosed.
EPOXY COATING COMPOSITION

Biocidal compositions of copper and silver and process for adhering to product substrates
Biocidal metallic compositions and films, and methods for making and adhering biocidal compositions and films to surfaces requiring continued protection without requiring frequent cleaning are disclosed. The biocidal compositions may include metals, such as copper or silver powder, which are applied to the exposed surface of a variety of different resins, glues, epoxies, solvents or other surface treatments to create a biocidal film over the surface of product substrates including metals, leathers, papers, plastics, cardstocks, and glass surfaces.
(POLY)SILSESQUIOXANE-FORMING COMPOSITE COMPOSITION
A composite composition for forming a composite, for example for potting electronics and/or electrics, in particular power electronics. The composite composition comprises, relative to the total weight of the composite composition, 10 wt. % to 95 wt. % of at least one filler and 1 wt. % to 20 wt. % of at least one oligomeric and/or polymeric silanol and/or silsesquioxane prepolymer, in particular polysilsesquioxane prepolymer and/or 1 wt. % to 20 wt. % of at least one oligomeric and/or polymeric silanol precursor having hydrolyzable groups and/or 1 wt. % to 20 wt. % of at least one silanol having hydrolyzable groups. A method for the preparation thereof, preparation methods for preparing silane compounds and/or silane compositions therefor, corresponding silane compounds and/or compositions, a correspondingly prepared composite and/or silsesquioxane, and the use thereof are also described.
Fine powder of polyamide from renewable materials and method for making such a powder
The present invention relates to a powder of polyamide PA (homopolyamide or copolyamide) derived at least partially from renewable materials, in which the particles have a nonspherical shape and a volume median diameter of less than or equal to 20 m. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing such a powder.
Electromagnetic-wave-absorbing film and its production method
An electromagnetic-wave-absorbing film comprising an electromagnetic-wave-absorbing layer comprising fine graphene particles and a binder resin, the electromagnetic-wave-absorbing layer being formed by repeating plural times a cycle of applying a dispersion comprising 1-10% by mass of flaky fine graphene particles and 0.05-5% by mass of a binder resin in an organic solvent to a plastic film, and then drying the dispersion; the electromagnetic-wave-absorbing layer having a thickness of 2-15 g/m.sup.2 (expressed by the weight of fine graphene particles per 1 m.sup.2); a mass ratio of the binder resin to fine graphene particles in the electromagnetic-wave-absorbing layer being 0.05-1; and the total area ratio of the fine-graphene-particles-free regions in the electromagnetic-wave-absorbing layer being 5% or less.
Metal-base printed circuit board
A highly thermally conductive printed circuit board prevents electrochemical migration by inhibiting elution of copper ions. The printed circuit board is a metal-base printed circuit board including a metal base plate having an insulating resin layer and a copper foil layer stacked thereon in this order. In the printed circuit board, the insulating resin layer contains a first inorganic filler made of inorganic particles having particle diameters of 0.1 nm to 600 nm with an average particle diameter (D.sub.50) of 1 nm to 300 nm, and a second inorganic filler made of inorganic particles having particle diameters of 100 nm to 100 m with an average particle diameter (D.sub.50) of 500 nm to 20 m, and the first inorganic filler and the second inorganic filler are uniformly dispersed in the insulating resin layer.

A coated steel sheet comprises: a steel sheet; a primer coating film which is arranged on the steel sheet and comprises an anti-corrosive pigment and an aggregate composed of primary particles; and a top coating film which is arranged on the primer coating film. The anti-corrosive pigment comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a bivalent tin salt, a trivalent vanadium salt, a tetravalent vanadium salt, a tetravalent molybdenum salt, an oxycarboxylic acid salt, an ascorbic acid, a phosphorous acid salt and a hypophosphorous acid salt.
