Culinary item comprising a fluorocarbon resin and rare earth oxide coating and method for manufacturing said item
Provided is a cooking item, at least one of the surfaces of which has a fluorocarbon coating including rare earth oxide fillers. The use of a composition including a fluorocarbon resin and rare earth oxide fillers makes it possible to obtain coatings, the mechanical properties of which (particularly in terms of hardness and resistance to abrasion) are reinforced without any breakdown in the non-stick properties of said composition. Also provided is a method for manufacturing such a cooking item.
DIGITAL THERMAL BINDER AND POWDER PRINTING
A method of forming a digital print on a surface (2) by applying powder of dry ink (15) including colourants (7) on the surface, bonding a part of the dry ink (15) powder to the surface (2) by a digital heating print head (80) such that the digital print is formed by the bonded dry ink colourants (7) and removing non-bonded dry ink (15) from the surface (2).
Porous resin particle and method for producing the same, and structure
A method for producing a porous resin particle including a mesoporous structure portion and an outer shell portion integrally formed on a surface of the mesoporous structure portion includes, in a state that an oil-phase liquid, in which a polymerizable monomer and an oil-soluble polymerization initiator having a polymerization initiating ability to the polymerizable monomer are dissolved or dispersed in a hydrophobic solvent, is dispersed as oil droplets in an aqueous medium containing a water-soluble polymerization initiator having a polymerization initiating ability to the polymerizable monomer, generating a plurality of mesopores inside the porous resin particle by forming a solid medium, by polymerizing the polymerizable monomer by acting the oil-soluble polymerization initiator and the water-soluble polymerization initiator at the same time on the polymerizable monomer.
Roof coating system
The invention relates to a roof coating comprising a bitumen layer with embedded particles.
ICE-PHOBIC COATING FORMULATIONS AND USES THEREOF
Disclosed in certain embodiments is an ice-phobic coating formulation comprising an elastomer, filler particles, and a cryoprotectant.
LIGHT DIFFUSING AND REFLECTIVE COATINGS
A multi-layer coating that transmits and reflects light can include a first coating layer and a second coating layer applied over the first coating layer. The first coating layer is prepared from a coating composition that includes a film forming resin, crosslinked organic particles, and inorganic pigment particles. The crosslinked organic particles and the inorganic pigment particles each have a refractive index that is different from the refractive index of the film forming resin. The second coating layer is prepared from a coating composition that includes a film forming resin and reflective and/or translucent particles.
INTUMESCENT COATING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING EXPANSION AGENTS AND RELATED COATINGS AND METHODS
An intumescent coating composition includes a binder resin, an acid-generating agent, and an expansion agent. The expansion agent can be meso-lactide, a polylactide or other polyester, a polysulfone, a polycarbonate, a 1,1-di-activated vinyl compound, or an addition polymer of a 1,1-di-activated vinyl compound, or a combination of any thereof.
Surface treatment
A method of protecting a polymer surface against fouling, which method comprises embedding in the polymer surface particles having antifouling properties, wherein the particles are embedded in the polymer surface by a spray mechanism in which the particles are accelerated and sprayed onto the polymer surface with a suitable velocity such that the particles become embedded in the polymer surface, wherein the particles are embedded in the polymer surface without an adhesive or binder and wherein the particles do not form a continuous layer on the polymer surface.
COMPOSITIONS FOR GAP COATING AND/OR FILLING IN OR BETWEEN ELECTRONIC PACKAGES BY CAPILLARY FLOW AND METHODS FOR THE USE THEREOF
Provided herein are conductive formulations which are useful for applying conductive material to a suitable substrate; the resulting coated articles have improved EMI shielding performance relative to articles coated with prior art formulations employing prior art methods. In accordance with certain aspects of the present invention, there are also provided methods for filling a gap in an electronic package to achieve electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding thereof, as well as the resulting articles shielded thereby. Specifically, invention methods utilize capillary flow to substantially fill any gaps in the coating on the surface of an electronic package. Effective EMI shielding has been demonstrated with very thin coating thickness.
Low Dust Powdered Seed Treatment
A powdered lubricant composition that minimizes fugitive dust and a method of treating seeds with dry lubricant that minimizes fugitive dust. Addition of oil powder to dry lubricants is found to minimize fugitive dust created during the application of the dry lubricant. Mica coated titanium dioxide is an ideal dry lubricant for combining with oil powder.
