Liquid ink compositions containing quantum dots for optoelectronic display applications are provided. Also provided are solid films formed by drying the ink compositions, optical elements incorporating the solid films, display devices incorporating the optical elements, and methods of forming the solid films, optical elements, and the devices. Liquid ink compositions and solid films made by drying the liquid ink compositions include one or more blue light-absorbing materials in combination with red light-emitting QDs or green light-emitting QDs.

According to one embodiment, a silicone-based ink for additive manufacturing includes a vinyl-terminated diphenyl siloxane macromer, a treated silica hydrophobic reinforcing filler, a rheology modifying additive, and a plurality of porogen particles. According to another embodiment, a product of additive manufacturing with a silicone-based ink includes a plurality of continuous filaments comprised of a siloxane matrix, where the continuous filaments are arranged in a geometric pattern, a plurality of inter-filament pores defined by the geometric pattern of the continuous filaments, and a plurality of intra-filament pores having an average diameter in a range of greater than 1 micron to less than 50 microns.

Radiation-curable ink jet composition and recording method
A radiation-curable ink jet composition comprises a polymerizable compound component including a monofunctional monomer component and a multifunctional monomer component. The content of the monofunctional monomer component is 87 mass % or more based on the polymerizable compound. The monofunctional monomer component includes a nitrogen-containing monofunctional monomer component, and the content of the nitrogen-containing monofunctional monomer component is 14 mass % or less based on total amount of the radiation-curable ink jet composition. The weighted average of the glass transition temperatures of homopolymers of the respective polymerizable compounds is 42° C. or more when the mass ratios of the contents of the respective polymerizable compounds are weighted.
Radiation-curable ink jet composition and recording method
A radiation-curable ink jet composition comprises a polymerizable compound component including a monofunctional monomer component and a multifunctional monomer component. The content of the monofunctional monomer component is 87 mass % or more based on the polymerizable compound. The monofunctional monomer component includes a nitrogen-containing monofunctional monomer component, and the content of the nitrogen-containing monofunctional monomer component is 14 mass % or less based on total amount of the radiation-curable ink jet composition. The weighted average of the glass transition temperatures of homopolymers of the respective polymerizable compounds is 42° C. or more when the mass ratios of the contents of the respective polymerizable compounds are weighted.

The present invention provides a photocurable ink composition for ink jet recording with excellent curability. The photocurable ink composition for ink jet recording includes polymerizable compounds, a photopolymerization initiator, and a colorant, wherein the polymerizable compounds include a vinyl ether group-containing (meth)acrylate represented by general formula (I):

(wherein R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R.sup.2 is a divalent organic residue having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, and R.sup.3 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic residue having 1 to 11 carbon atoms) and phenoxyethyl (meth)acrylate.

The present invention provides a photocurable ink composition for ink jet recording with excellent curability. The undercoating photo-curable ink jet ink has a higher surface tension than the overcoating photo-curable ink jet ink.
