A water-based white pigment ink for ink-jet recording includes a white pigment and water. The ink further includes a first resin emulsion having a tensile elongation from 600% to 1200% as a film, measured in accordance with JIS K 7127 and a second resin emulsion having a maximum tensile stress from 50 MPa to 80 MPa as a film, measured in accordance with JIS K 7127. The solid content (R1) of the first resin emulsion to be added and the solid content (R2) of the second resin emulsion to be added in the total amount of the ink satisfy R1/R2=0.4 to 2.5.

Web-fed inkjet printing press and method for printing a printing material

A web-fed inkjet printing press has at least one printing unit and uses a printing material which is configured as a printing material web which is guided or which can be guided through the printing unit and which can be printed by at least one inkjet print head in the printing unit in a printing process with a printing color of a defined hue which is configured as ink. The inkjet print head in the printing unit is directed directly onto the printing material. A printing material web is made from a mechanical paper with a weight per unit area between 3.5 and 80 g/m.sup.2 and/or with a surface to be printed with a roughness according Bendtsen of at least 30 ml/min and or a thickness of from 50 to 120 μm which is guided through the printing unit. The printing material web, in order to be printed, is in interaction indirectly or directly with the at least one inkjet print head of the printing unit. The inkjet print had has an ink reservoir or has a line connection to an ink reservoir with a water-based printing color which is configured as ink and comprises both color pigments and a polymer or a copolymer as constituent parts.

Graphene compositions

Compositions comprising graphene sheets, graphite, at least one binder, a carrier system. About 1 to about 50 weight percent of the carrier system comprises at least one of a cyclic imide and lactone. The graphene sheets consist of fully exfoliated single sheets of graphite. The ratio by weight of graphite to graphene sheets is from about 50:50 to about 85:15. The composition may be used as coatings and inks.

About 1 to about 50 weight percent of the carrier system comprises at least one of a cyclic imide and lactone. The graphene sheets consist of fully exfoliated single sheets of graphite. BLOCK COPOLYMER AND RESIN COMPOSITION

The present invention aims to provide a resin having an excellent solubility to alcohols, an excellent adherability to nonpolar base materials such as polyolefin, and not containing chlorine; and to provide a resin composition containing a urethane resin, not having the elimination problem of hydrochloric acid caused by external factors, having a good compatibility with a variety of components containing urethane resins, and having a good adherability to a variety of base materials, so that the resin composition can suitably be used as an ink, an adhesive, and paint. The present invention provides a block copolymer comprising a polymer block (A) mainly comprising olefin monomers and a polymer block (B) comprising vinyl monomers having hydroxy groups and other vinyl monomers copolymerizable with the vinyl monomers having hydroxy groups, in which a hydroxy value is within a range of 5 mg KOH/g to 120 mg KOH/g; a dispersion thereof; a resin composition containing the block copolymer and a urethane resin; and uses thereof.
