INK COMPOSITION FOR INKJET RECORDING, INK SET, AND IMAGE RECORDING METHOD
Provided is an ink composition for inkjet recording containing water, a pigment, and a water-soluble polymer having a carboxy group, in which the water-soluble polymer satisfies the following expression (1), and the ink composition for inkjet recording is used for recording an ink image on a recording medium to which a pretreatment liquid including at least one aggregating agent selected from the group consisting of acids, cationic polymers, and polyvalent metal salts is applied:
230 mgKOH/g≤Σ(a×b)≤750 mgKOH/g (1)
a means an acid value of the water-soluble polymer, in terms of mgKOH/g, and b means a content of the water-soluble polymer with respect to a total amount of the ink composition, in terms of % by mass.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTILAYER CERAMIC ELECTRONIC COMPONENT AND DISAPPEARING INK
A method to produce a multilayer ceramic electronic component includes forming supports by an ink jet printing method to produce a green multilayer ceramic capacitor. A green ceramic layer and outer electrodes of the multilayer ceramic electronic component are formed by the ink jet printing method while the supports define peripheries of the green ceramic layer and the outer electrodes. When fired, the green multilayer ceramic electronic component is converted to a sintered multilayer ceramic electronic component, and the supports disappear by heating.
Inkjet ink(s)
Inkjet inks are described herein. In an example, an inkjet ink can comprise: at least one colorant; at least one solvent comprising glycerol in an amount of from about 1 wt % to about 20 wt % based on the total weight of the inkjet ink; water; and at least one binder, wherein the binder comprises a polyurethane-based binder dispersion.
Method for inkjet printing
Inkjet printing is carried out to provide monochrome or polychrome inkjet-printed images. An ink-receptive medium is provided with a substrate with an aqueous-based ink-receptive layer disposed thereon. The aqueous-based ink-receptive layer has: (a) one or more water-soluble salts of a multivalent metal cation in an amount of 0.6-49 weight %; (b) one or both of a polyvinyl alcohol and a polyvinyl amine (or a copolymer of a vinyl alcohol and vinyl amine) in a total amount of 0.5-30 weight %; and optionally, (c) a crosslinking agent and (d) silica particles. One or more aqueous pigment-based inks are inkjet printed onto this aqueous-based ink-receptive layer, each ink comprising: a) one or more anionically-stabilized pigment colorants; b) one or more water-miscible humectants that are present in a total amount of 1-20 weight % and each having a carbon atom to oxygen atom ratio of at least 1.0:1.0 and only two hydroxy groups.
DURABLE OUTDOOR INKJET INKS
An inkjet ink for printing durable outdoor images with an inkjet printer includes an basic pH aqueous ink vehicle comprising water, a soluble base, and at least one water soluble organic solvent; a pigment dispersion; and a polymer comprising base neutralized carboxylic acid groups with a glass transition temperature between 0 and 150° C. and an acid number between 50 and 1000 mg KOH/g dissolved in the vehicle, wherein the carboxylic acid groups are base neutralized; a poly-electrophilic functionalized compound capable of crosslinking the neutralized carboxylic acidic groups on the polymer wherein the ratio of the poly-electrophilic groups on the functionalized compound to carboxylic acid groups on the polymer is 1:1 or less on an equivalent basis and the ink maintains a stable viscosity and pigment particle size distribution for 6 weeks at 60° C.; the water in the ink inhibiting the crosslinking reaction until after the ink is printed and the water is substantially removed from the ink by drying.
