DIGITAL PRINTING PROCESS AND METHOD
Embodiments of the invention relate to a method of indirect printing with an aqueous ink formulation applied to the surface of the intermediate transfer member. Related apparatus, systems and treatment formulations are disclosed herein.
Radiation-Curable Ink Jet Composition And Printing Method
A radiation-curable ink jet composition that is a white ink containing a white coloring material or a pale or clear ink containing 1.2% by mass or less of a coloring material contains at least one polymerizable compound including at least one of a monofunctional monomer having a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic structure and a monomer having a hydroxy group. In the composition, the thioxanthone-based photopolymerization initiator content is limited to 0.3% or less relative to the total mass of the radiation-curable ink jet composition.

PRE-TREATMENT LIQUID FOR USE IN INK JET PRINTING
The present invention relates to an aqueous pre-treatment liquid for use in ink jet printing, the pre-treatment liquid comprising: water; magnesium-sulfate; and a crystallization retarding agent selected from the group consisting of: sorbitol, xylitol, adonitol, β-alanine, proline and γ-aminobutyric acid. The pre-treatment liquid is non-yellowing, non-smelling and does not crystallize upon drying. Prints made by using a pre-treatment liquid according to the present invention in combination with an aqueous ink shows a significant decrease of end-curl after a long period of time.
