Continuous inkjet ink composition
Embodiments of the invention relate to ink compositions suitable for applications in the printing industry, for example continuous inkjet printing, including ultra-high speed continuous inkjet printing. The ink compositions use volatile organic solvents, a colorant, and one or more binder resins including a resin that is a phenolic resole resin, wherein the ink composition is free of methanol, halogens, halogenated compounds and bisphenol-A. A phenolic resole resin of the ink composition preferably contains less than 0.1% by weight of free formaldehyde. The one or more binder resins including the phenolic resole resin may be present in an amount that is from about 5% to about 30% by weight of the ink composition.

ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE, FORMULATION AND METHOD FOR PRINTING ON A FOAMED BEVERAGE
Some embodiments of the invention relate to an article of manufacturing for printing on a foamed beverage comprising: an ink-jet cartridge; and a sugar-poor and unfermented-wort-based ink formulation disposed within the ink jet cartridge. The unfermented wort is the primary colorant of the ink formulation. In embodiments of the invention, (i) a ratio between the EBC number of the ink formulation and the 25° C. viscosity thereof is at least 400 (centipoise).sup.−1; (ii) the ink formulation is characterized by at least a EBC number of at least 1800 colorant units; (iii) the ink formulation comprises at least 10% wt/wt carbohydrates; (iv) the ink formulation is sugar-poor such that a ratio between a wt/wt% concentration of soluble sugars and a wt/wt concentration of carbohydrates in the ink formulation is at most 0.2 (e.g. ≤0.1 or ≤0.05); and (v) at least 60% of particles of the ink formulation are sub-400 nanometer particles.
PHOTOCURABLE INK COMPOSITION AND IMAGE RECORDING METHOD
Provided are: a photocurable ink composition including particles of a squarylium coloring agent represented by Formula (1) a radically polymerizable monomer, a radical polymerization initiator, and a coloring agent sensitizer, in which a volume average particle diameter of the particles of the squarylium coloring agent is 10 nm to 400 nm (in Formula (1), ring A and ring B: an aromatic ring or a heteroaromatic ring; X.sup.A, X.sup.B, G.sup.A, and G.sup.B: monovalent substituent; kA=integer of 0 to nA; kB=integer of 0 to nB; nA: an integer that is a maximum number of G.sup.A the ring A can have as its substituent; and nB: an integer that is a maximum number of G.sup.B the ring B can have as its substituent); and an image recording method.

DYE SUBLIMATION INKJET INK SET
An example dye sublimation inkjet ink set includes a first dye sublimation inkjet ink and a second dye sublimation inkjet ink. The first dye sublimation inkjet ink includes a disperse dye colorant dispersion including a first disperse dye having absorption at a radiation wavelength ranging from about 360 nm to about 410 nm; an additive to absorb energy at the radiation wavelength ranging from about 360 nm to about 410 nm and to dissipate at least some of the absorbed energy as fluorescence; a co-solvent; and a balance of water. The additive is selected from the group consisting of a compound containing from 3 to 5 fused benzene rings and and a coumarin derivative. The second dye sublimation inkjet ink includes a disperse dye colorant dispersion including a second disperse dye having less absorption at the radiation wavelength than the first disperse dye; a co-solvent; and a balance of water.

DYE-SUBLIMATION INKJET PRINTING FOR TEXTILE
Provided herein is an inkjet dye-sublimation ink composition that is formulated to interact with an immobilizing composition such that the ink composition coagulates on the surface of an absorptive substrate, thereby substantially limiting soaking of the ink composition into the substrate. Also provided are a printing process and a printing machine, wherein the ink composition is directly printed on the substrate concomitantly with the immobilizing composition, and thereafter undergo heat-pressing to afford a dye-sublimation transfer of the dye to the substrate, thereby forming an image which is characterized by sharp and well defined edges of the dyed areas.
