PIGMENTED INKJET INK WITH HIGH ACID NUMBER ACRYLIC RESIN
This specification discloses non-aqueous solvent, pigmented ink formulations that are suitable for the electronic and aerospace industries and form printed marks that are resistant to smearing and dissolution by organic solvents commonly used in overcoatings in this industry and others. These ink formulations are based on use of an acidic resin with an inherent acid value of at least about 25 mg KOH/g, preferably at least partially neutralized by a quaternary ammonium hydroxide and/or alcohol amine acid neutralizing or modifying agent.

INK COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING INK COMPOSITION
An ink composition contains colored cellulose fibers and a dispersion medium containing water and a water-soluble organic solvent in a weight percentage of 1% to 95%. The ink composition contains colored cellulose fibers acting as the color material capable of being easily trapped in the meshes of the printing medium, that is, the color material having a small diffusion coefficient into the printing medium, and has a wettability as high as a contact angle of 90 degrees or less on the printing medium. Thus, the bleeding and strike-through of the ink composition can be prevented when the printing medium is printed.
