INKJET INK
The present invention provides an inkjet ink that contains a metal complex dye, a polyoxyethylene based compound with which a number average molecular weight Mn is not less than 200, a tackifier with which a hydroxyl value is 30 to 70 mgKOH/g, a first solvent of at least one type selected from a group consisting of ketones, ethers, and esters and with which an SP value is less than 11, and a second solvent being an alcohol including at least an alcohol with 1 to 3 carbon atoms and with which the SP value is not less than 11 and is solvent based and does not contain (excludes) water, is unlikely to cause cogation, is also excellent in intermittent printing performance, and yet enables a character of excellent fixing property and abrasion resistance to be printed on a surface of a printing object with a non-absorbing property.
Ink jet method and ink jet apparatus
An ink jet method includes: a discharging step of discharging a radiation-curable ink jet composition onto a recording medium at an ink weight per dot of 22 ng/dot or less by using an ink jet head having a nozzle density of 600 npi or more and configured to discharge the radiation-curable ink jet composition; and an irradiating step of irradiating, with radiation, the radiation-curable ink jet composition attached to the recording medium. The radiation-curable ink jet composition contains polymerizable compounds containing a monofunctional monomer and a multifunctional monomer. The monofunctional monomer includes a nitrogen-containing monofunctional monomer. The amount of the monofunctional monomer is 90 mass % or more relative to the total amount of the polymerizable compound. The amount of the nitrogen-containing monofunctional monomer is from 1 to 15 mass % relative to the total amount of the polymerizable compounds.

Ink jet ink composition
An ink jet ink composition contains a disperse dye, and a compound represented by the following formula (1): ##STR00001##
In the formula, Ar.sub.1 and Ar.sub.2 each independently represent an aryl group; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represent a chemical species selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl groups having a carbon number of 1 to 3, a sulfo group, —O—SO.sub.3H, a carboxy group, and a hydroxy group; and n's each independently represent an integer of 0 to 5. The content of the compound represented by formula (1) is 0.1% by mass to 20% by mass relative to the total mass of the ink jet ink composition.
