COATING COMPOSITION AND LAMINATE

Provided is an aqueous coating composition capable of forming a fluororesin coating film layer with excellent electrical properties and surface physical properties, and good adhesive properties. A coating composition containing 2 or more kinds of fluororesins, where at least 1 kind of the fluororesin, a fluororesin (I), has a number of functional groups of 30 to 1,000 per 10.sup.6 main-chain carbon atoms, and where the coating composition further contains an inorganic filler, a surfactant, and a liquid medium.

NOVEL PVDF POWDER FOR REDUCED DISPERSION VISCOSITY COATINGS
20240059905 · 2024-02-22 ·

A method of reducing dispersion viscosity in a dispersion coating formulation is disclosed. The method comprises substituting a portion of the conventional PVDF in the formulation with a highly crystalline PVDF. The highly crystalline PVDF has a crystallinity 44% or greater (from X-ray diffraction). The highly crystalline PVDF imparts lower viscosity to the coating dispersion formulation.
