WATER-DISPERSIBLE POLYURETHANE
The present invention relates to an aqueous dispersion comprising dispersed particles comprising a polyurethane comprising at least the following building blocks derived from a) at least one organic polyisocyanate, b) at least one carboxylate group-bearing isocyanate-reactive compound, and c) at least one organic isocyanate-reactive polyol, wherein at least one of the carboxylate group-bearing compounds b) has the following structural formula O II (1) R.sub.2(R.sub.3)—N—C—R.sub.1-COO.sup.− wherein R.sub.1 is a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having from 2 to 8 carbon atoms or a divalent cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon radical having from 6 to 8 carbon atoms or a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon radical having from 6 to 8 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are 2-hydroxypropyl.

A decorative sheet having a surface protective layer on substrate, wherein the surface protective layer is obtained by crosslinking and curing composition A containing an ionizing radiation-curable resin composition and radical scavenger; the radical scavenger contains radical scavenger i which includes ethylenic double bond polymerizable with ionizing radiation-curable resin composition and radical scavenger ii which does not include ethylenic double bond polymerizable with ionizing radiation-curable resin composition; a content of radical scavenger in composition A is not less than 0.5 parts by mass and less than 10.0 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the ionizing radiation-curable resin composition; and a water vapor transmission rate of the decorative sheet when measured in accordance with Testing Methods for Determination of the Water Vapor Transmission Rate of Moisture-Proof Packaging Materials (Dish Method) defined in JIS Z0208:1976 is not less than 0.75 g/m.sup.2.Math.24 h and not more than 45 g/m.sup.2.Math.24 h.

Coating Composition for Polyurethane Foam and Polyurethane Foam Using Same
A coating agent composition for polyurethane foam is provided. The coating agent may not only exhibit adhesive properties suitable for an automated process for producing a battery pack, but also has a uniform surface and has excellent durability and reliability in a severe environment. Polyurethane foam using the coating agent composition is also provided. Specifically, coating agent composition for polyurethane foam includes a (meth)acrylate-based monomer, an urethane acrylate, a photoinitiator, and inorganic fine particles, wherein a content of the inorganic fine particles is 100 parts by weight to 500 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the photoinitiator.

There has been demand for a titanium oxide organosol that has a high transparency and a high refractive index and that also exhibits an excellent viscosity stability over time. The rutile-type titanium oxide organosol according to the present invention comprises a silane coupling agent, a basic additive acting as a deflocculant, a water-insoluble solvent, and rutile-type titanium oxide particles that have been surface-treated with a hydrous oxide of at least one metal species selected from Zr, Ce, Sn, and Fe, the rutile-type titanium oxide organosol being characterized in that the Ti ratio contained in the colloidal particles in the rutile-type titanium oxide organosol is at least 60 mass% when calculated as the oxide, and the ratio of metal species at the colloidal particle surface derived from x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is 20-50 mass%.

The first polymeric layer includes: a first polymeric matrix having a refractive index n.sub.1; and particles having a refractive index n.sub.2 uniformly dispersed within the first polymeric matrix; wherein the particles are present in an amount of less than 30 vol-%, based on the volume of the first polymeric layer, and have a particle size range of 400 nanometers (nm) to 3000 nm; and wherein n.sub.1 is different than n.sub.2.
