ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

An adhesive composition is provided. The adhesive composition includes 310 parts by weight of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), wherein the polyvinylidene fluoride includes two polyvinylidene fluorides with different weight average molecular weights ranging from 20000 to 3000000, and at least one of the polyvinylidene fluorides has a carboxyl group; 0.1-0.5 parts by weight of polyvinyl butyral (PVB); and 0.1-3 parts by weight of a conductive powder.

A FLUORINATED PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES AND ARTICLES THEREOF

Described herein is a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising a high molecular weight fluorinated polymer having a Tg less than about 0 C. and a number average molecular weight greater than about 20 kilograms/mole; and a low molecular weight fluorinated polymer derived from an ethylenically unsaturated fluorinated monomer, wherein the low molecular weight fluorinated polymer has a Tg greater than about 15 C. and a number average molecular weight less than about 18 kilograms/mole. Also described herein are articles comprising the pressure sensitive adhesive composition.

Described herein is a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising a high molecular weight fluorinated polymer having a Tg less than about 0 C. and a number average molecular weight greater than about 20 kilograms/mole; and a low molecular weight fluorinated polymer derived from an ethylenically unsaturated fluorinated monomer, wherein the low molecular weight fluorinated polymer has a Tg greater than about 15 C. and a number average molecular weight less than about 18 kilograms/mole. Lithium-ion battery having a bonding agent

The present disclosure relates to a lithium-ion battery bonding agent and a lithium-ion battery comprising the same. The bonding agent may be a polymer comprising structural units represented by Formula I, Formula II, Formula III, and Formula IV, and has an average molecular weight of 500,000 to 1.2 million. The bonding agent may be incorporated into at least one of a positive film, a negative film, a separator, and an electrolyte in the battery. The bonding agent can significantly improve the flexibility of the positive film, avoid processability and battery performance issues caused by the electrode film being too brittle, and help improve the compact density and battery energy density.
