CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION AND CURED MATERIAL
An object of the present invention is to provide a curable resin composition in which the refractive index of a cured material is low and the adhesive strength to a member is excellent. There is provided a curable resin composition including: (A) component: an oligomer containing a (meth)acryloyl group and a fluorine atom in a molecule; (B) component: polyfunctional (meth)acrylate not containing a fluorine atom in a molecule; (C) component: a compound, not containing a fluorine atom in a molecule, of at least one selected from the group consisting of monofunctional (meth)acrylate containing a hydroxyl group, monofunctional (meth)acrylate containing an alicyclic ring, monofunctional (meth)acrylate containing an aromatic ring, (meth)acrylamide, and (meth)acrylic acid; and (D) component: a radical initiator, wherein a content of the (B) component is 0.1 parts by mass or more and 7.8 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the (A) component.

There is provided a curable resin composition including: (A) component: an oligomer containing a (meth)acryloyl group and a fluorine atom in a molecule; (B) component: polyfunctional (meth)acrylate not containing a fluorine atom in a molecule; (C) component: a compound, not containing a fluorine atom in a molecule, of at least one selected from the group consisting of monofunctional (meth)acrylate containing a hydroxyl group, monofunctional (meth)acrylate containing an alicyclic ring, monofunctional (meth)acrylate containing an aromatic ring, (meth)acrylamide, and (meth)acrylic acid; and (D) component: a radical initiator, wherein a content of the (B) component is 0.1 parts by mass or more and 7.8 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the (A) component.
Fluorinated pressure sensitive adhesives and articles thereof
Described herein is a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising a high molecular weight fluorinated polymer having a Tg less than about 0 C. and a number average molecular weight greater than about 20 kilograms/mole; and a low molecular weight fluorinated polymer derived from an ethylenically unsaturated fluorinated monomer, wherein the low molecular weight fluorinated polymer has a Tg greater than about 15 C. and a number average molecular weight less than about 18 kilograms/mole. Also described herein are articles comprising the pressure sensitive adhesive composition.
Fluorinated pressure sensitive adhesives and articles thereof
Described herein is a pressure sensitive adhesive comprising a high molecular weight fluorinated polymer having a Tg less than about 0 C. and a number average molecular weight greater than about 20 kilograms/mole; and a low molecular weight fluorinated polymer derived from an ethylenically unsaturated fluorinated monomer, wherein the low molecular weight fluorinated polymer has a Tg greater than about 15 C. and a number average molecular weight less than about 18 kilograms/mole. Also described herein are articles comprising the pressure sensitive adhesive composition.

The present invention aims to provide an adhesive tape excellent in resistance against sebum to be able to maintain its adhesive force even when applied to a part frequently touched with human hands, and an adhesive tape for fixing electronic device component and a transparent adhesive tape for optical use each provided with the adhesive tape. The present invention relates to an adhesive tape including an adhesive layer containing an acrylic adhesive, the adhesive layer having a swelling ratio of 100% or more and 130% or less after immersion in oleic acid under the conditions of a temperature of 60 C. and a humidity of 90% for 24 hours.

Low dn/dT optical adhesives
Embodiments of an optical adhesive are provided. The optical adhesive includes about 20% to about 60% by volume of first monomers. The first monomers have at least two acrylate or methacrylate groups. The optical adhesive also includes about 40% to about 80% by volume of second monomers. The second monomers have at least one fluorine atom and at least one acrylate or methacrylate group. The optical adhesive has a refractive index of from about 1.40 to about 1.55, and in the temperature range of about 10 C. to about 85 C., the refractive index of the optical adhesive has a thermal drift dn/dT of less than about 410.sup.4/ C. Embodiments of a mechanical joint between two optical fiber segments using the optical adhesive and embodiments of a method for joining two optical fiber segments are also provided.
Low dn/dT optical adhesives
Embodiments of an optical adhesive are provided. The optical adhesive includes about 20% to about 60% by volume of first monomers. The first monomers have at least two acrylate or methacrylate groups. The optical adhesive also includes about 40% to about 80% by volume of second monomers. The second monomers have at least one fluorine atom and at least one acrylate or methacrylate group. The optical adhesive has a refractive index of from about 1.40 to about 1.55, and in the temperature range of about 10 C. to about 85 C., the refractive index of the optical adhesive has a thermal drift dn/dT of less than about 410.sup.4/ C. Embodiments of a mechanical joint between two optical fiber segments using the optical adhesive and embodiments of a method for joining two optical fiber segments are also provided.
Polymer compositions for UV curable primers
Polymer compositions for UV curable primer formulations, as described herein. The primer formulations contain a modifier selected from the following: at least one modifier selected from a) through d) below: a) R1R2CCR3-(CO)Z (Formula A), as described herein, b) an acrylate-containing oligomer that has a Mn1500 g/mol, and an acid value from 50 to 500 mg KOH/g; c) a random terpolymer comprising, in polymerized form, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, and at least one of the following: a hydroxyl-containing alkyl acrylate, a hydroxyl-containing alkyl meth-acrylate, or a combination thereof or d) any combination of a) through c). Such primer formulations are useful for the binding of olefin-based polymer foams.

Polymer compositions for UV curable primer formulations, as described herein.
