CHANNELED SEAM TAPE
A channeled seam tape includes a liquid permeable facer sheet attached to an adhesive portion, where the adhesive portion defines a channeled portion. A removable liner covers the adhesive portion and can be removed to press the tape onto a pair of adjacent substrate surfaces. Once the tape has been pressed onto the substrate surfaces, the adhesive portion covers a gap located between the substrate surfaces and adheres to each substrate surface.

The thermoplastic elastomer layer is disposed under the PU surface layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer includes color masterbatch material. The color masterbatch material is between 0.1-1% weight. By controlling the amount of color masterbatch material in the thermoplastic elastomer layer, the film of the present disclosure has real color appearance and good light transmittance.
Adhesive tape
An adhesive tape includes: a substrate made of a fluorine resin; and a silicone-based adhesive agent layer disposed on one surface of the substrate. The adhesive tape has a thickness of 50 μm or more. An adhesive strength of an adhesive surface to the other surface of the substrate after a friction test is 4.0 N/19 mm or more. The friction test is performed according to a test method for coefficient of friction specified in JIS K7125: 1999, and performed in a state where: a contact surface, of a sliding piece used in the test method, brought into contact with a surface to be tested is covered with a single fiber cloth (cotton, for friction) specified in JIS L0803: 2011; the other surface of the substrate is defined as the surface to be tested; and the number of times of reciprocation is set to 10 times.
Release liner, method of producing release liner, adhesive sheet, and method of producing adhesive sheet
A release liner which makes it difficult for an adhesive layer to impair slidability and makes it easy to exhibit an adhesive force suitably, a method of producing a release liner, an adhesive sheet, and a method of producing an adhesive sheet. A release liner has a surface provided with a ridge portion extending linearly, and on the surface, a plurality of recesses having different depths are randomly formed in a surface direction and are continuously connected.
DOUBLE PASS PROCESS OF MAKING A SELF ADHERING ROOFING MEMBRANE WITH IMPROVED ADHESION AT LOWER INSTALLATION TEMPERATURE
A self-adhering roofing membrane may include a polymeric membrane. The roofing membrane may include a first adhesive layer disposed on a major surface of the polymeric membrane. The first adhesive layer may include one or both of a hot melt adhesive and a butyl rubber-based adhesive. The roofing membrane may include a UV curable adhesive layer disposed on the first adhesive layer. The UV curable adhesive layer may have a thickness of less than about 4 mils.
METHOD OF APPLYING AN ADHESIVE FILM TO A COMPONENT AND TOOL SUITABLE THEREFOR
A method of applying an adhesive film to a component includes applying an adhesive film to a surface of a component, wherein the adhesive film is positioned between the surface and an elastic membrane, the elastic membrane is transferred into a curved state with a convex and a concave side and contacted with the surface with the convex side first such that an adhesive layer of the adhesive film is pressed onto the surface in a full-area by the elastic membrane, the adhesive layer is pressed onto the surface in a full-area by a negative pressure being applied to that side of the elastic membrane facing towards the adhesive film, and to stabilize the component against deformation brought about by this negative pressure, the elastic membrane along with the adhesive film is pushed against the surface of the component with a plunger means.
ULTRA-QUIET BACKING-PAPER-FREE COLD LAMINATING FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses an ultra-quiet backing-paper-free cold laminating film comprising a substrate layer, a release layer, and an adhesive layer, the release layer and the adhesive layer being each attached to a respective side of the substrate layer, the release layer being obtained by drying a release agent applied on the substrate layer, and the release agent consisting of the following components by weight: 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, vinyltrimethoxysilane, 1-methyl-1-phenylethyl hydroperoxide, vinyl-terminated silicone resin, di-t-butyl cumene peroxide, fluorosiloxane, ethyl acetate, ethylene glycol dimethyl ether, a toughening agent, polysiloxane-polyether copolymer, silicone and wax powder. In the invention, the peel strength is reduced; it is ensured that the release force of the cold laminating film is not affected by the external environment, such that the cold laminating film has good stability; and meanwhile the subsequent adhesion of the release layer is improved, so that it can ensure that the adhesive force of the adhesive layer would not be affected after long-term adhesion between the adhesive layer and the release layer.
Photosensitive medical tape
A photosensitive medical tape includes a backing layer that is at least partially transparent to a first spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. The photosensitive medical tape also includes a coupling layer disposed on a first side of the backing layer to provide adhesion of the photosensitive medical tape to the human skin. The photosensitive medical tape is disposed to absorb a second spectrum of electromagnetic radiation to decrease a strength of the adhesion provided by the coupling layer. The photosensitive medical tape is also flexible.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE
The present invention provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, including: an acrylic copolymer and a crosslinking agent. The acrylic copolymer is a reaction product of a mixture of the following monomers: a first alkyl (meth)acrylate, an alkyl group in the first alkyl (meth)acrylate having at least 6 carbon atoms; a second alkyl (meth)acrylate, an alkyl group in the second alkyl (meth)acrylate having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and a vinyl carboxylic acid, the weight ratio of the vinyl carboxylic acid to the mixture being 4% to 5%. The crosslinking agent is an organometallic chelating agent. The weight ratio of the organometallic chelating agent to the mixture is 0.05% to 0.25%.
