WATER-DISPERSIBLE PAPER
An object is to provide a water-dispersible paper that exhibits excellent dispersibility in water. As a solution, a water-dispersible paper is provided that has a base paper containing papermaking fibers and a water-soluble alkaline compound, wherein the Canadian Standard Freeness of the papermaking fibers is 500 ml CSF or higher but no higher than 750 ml CSF.
ACRYLIC EMULSION PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
Provided is an acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that remains no residues on an adherend, when the pressure-sensitive adhesive is removed after long-term storage, and is easily peeled off, while exhibiting excellent adhesive strength. The acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes an emulsion polymer of a monomer mixture including a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based first monomer including an alkyl group having 1 to 14 carbon atoms and an unsaturated carboxylic acid-based second monomer; an external crosslinking agent including diacetone acrylamide and adipic acid dihydrazide; an internal crosslinking agent; and a polymerization initiator.
Laminate Structure
A laminate structure comprising a tape and a molded component is provided. The tape comprises a substrate having a first surface and an opposing second surface, wherein a first adhesive coating is disposed on the first surface of the substrate. The molded component is positioned adjacent and bonded to the first adhesive coating of the tape, wherein the molded component includes a polymer composition that contains a liquid crystalline polymer. The peel strength between the tape and the molded component is about 0.55 pounds-force per inch more as determined in accordance with ASTM D3167-10 (2017).
Product and method for adhering indicia to a flexible substrate
A method for adhering a label, lettering, ink, a tattoo, sketch, design or color (“indicia”) to a substrate comprising the steps of: providing an indicia-bearing backing paper; moistening the indicia-bearing backing paper to form a moistened indicia-bearing layer; providing an adhesive layer between the moistened indicia-bearing layer and the substrate; placing the moistened indicia-bearing layer on the adhesive layer; allowing the indicia to become separated from the backing paper, leaving the indicia upon the substrate; and drying on the substrate.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DECORATED PRODUCT, DECORATING SHEET, AND DECORATED PRODUCT
To provide a method for manufacturing a decorated product that enables to easily manufacture a highly designable decorated product; a decorating sheet that can be used in this method for manufacturing a decorating sheet; and a highly designable decorated product. A decorated product 400 is manufactured by bonding an adhesive layer 200 to an image layer 10 side of a decorating sheet 100 provided with an image layer 10 having a thermal transfer image 20 on a supporter 1, and thereafter integrating the decorating sheet 100 with an object to be decorated 300 on an adhesive layer 200 side of the decorating sheet 100 to which the adhesive layer 200 is bonded.
PAPER WRAPPING MATERIALS AND METHOD FOR A HIGHLY COMPRESSED PRODUCT
Paper wrapping materials and method to securely wrap a rolled-up High Expansion Force product. The materials include a kraft paper layer encircling a circumference of the product with a leading end of the paper layer adhered to a tail end of the product by a first hotmelt adhesive. A tail end of the paper layer is adhered to a middle portion of the paper layer with a second hotmelt adhesive encircling the product. The paper layer has: (i) a Basis Weight from about 68 pounds per 3000 feet squared to about 84 pounds per 3000 feet squared, (ii) a Tensile Strength (MD) from about 55 pounds per inch to about 70 pounds per inch, (iii) a Stretch (MD) from about 7% to about 11%, and (iv) a fiber content of at least 70% virgin fibers. The second hotmelt adhesive is between about 15% and about 25% thermoplastic elastomer.
