Perfluoroelastomer composition and sealing material
Provided are a perfluoroelastomer composition containing a perfluoroelastomer, a peroxide crosslinking agent, a co-crosslinking agent that is a diolefin compound, and an organic pigment; and a sealing material containing a crosslinked product of the perfluoroelastomer composition.
SEAL AND METHOD OF FORMING
A seal can include a body including a thermoplastic material and a filler material including a fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer can include a modified fluoropolymer. The body can include an elongation-at-break of at least 3%. In an embodiment, the seal can include a seal ring, wherein the body of the seal ring can include a weld.
SEALING BODY FOR DYNAMIC APPLICATIONS
A sealing body is for dynamic applications. The sealing body includes an elastomer material including epichlorohydrin rubber (ECO) as a rubber; and carbon nanotubes distributed in the elastomer material in an amount in a range from 0.4 to 10 phr, based on 100 parts by weight of rubber. The body has a Shore A hardness of in a range from 60 to 100.

A power storage assembly having a gasket containing a copolymer containing tetrafluoroethylene unit and a perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) unit, wherein the copolymer has a content of the perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) unit of 2.0 to 4.5% by mass with respect to the whole of the monomer units, a melt flow rate of 5 to 36 g/10 min, and the number of functional groups of CFCF.sub.2, CF.sub.2H, COF, COOH, COOCH.sub.3, CONH.sub.2 and CH.sub.2OH of more than 50 per 10.sup.6 main-chain carbon atoms, wherein the gasket has a thickness of 0.5 to 2.5 mm.

A seal comprising a jacket comprising an annular body defining a central axis and a recess extending into the annular body concentric to the central axis, wherein the jacket comprises at least 30 wt % of a PTFE and at least 10 wt % of a filler material, and wherein the filler material comprises a boron-containing material, a nitrogen-containing material, a titanium-containing material, a silicon-containing material, a carbon fiber, a glass fiber, or a combination thereof; and an energizing element disposed in the recess.

wherein X.sup.11 and X.sup.12 are the same as or different from each other, and are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group optionally containing a fluorine atom, or a phenyl group; Y.sup.11 is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; Rf.sup.11 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group optionally containing a fluorine atom; and a is an integer of 1 to 4.
PEROXIDE CROSSLINKABLE FLUORORUBBER COMPOSITION
A peroxide crosslinkable fluororubber composition comprising: (A) 0.1 to 2.5 parts by weight of a sodium salt or potassium salt of a saturated or unsaturated higher fatty acid; (B) (a) 0.1 to 3.5 parts by weight of a fluoropolyether derivative having a melting point of 70 C. or less, (b) 0.1 to 3.0 parts by weight of a poly--olefin oligomer, or (c) 0.1 to 2.0 parts by weight of an alkylamine compound having 4 to 30 carbon atoms; and (C) 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an organic peroxide,
based on 100 parts by weight of peroxide crosslinkable fluororubber. This fluororubber composition has excellent crosslinking rate, mold release properties, hardness, compression set characteristics, and the like that are required for molding processability.
Sealing body for dynamic applications
A sealing body for dynamic applications has a Shore A hardness of between 60-100, comprising an elastomer material and carbon nanotubes distributed in the elastomer material in an amount of between 0.1-20 phr, with respect to the total amount of elastomer material.
GASKET MATERIAL
A gasket material comprising a crosslinked fluororubber layer having a micro-hardness of 5 to 25 formed on a metal plate using a fluororubber composition comprising 30 to 70 parts by weight of carbon black having a CTAB specific surface area of 3 to 34 m.sup.2/g, and 5 to 15 parts by weight of hydrated amorphous silicon dioxide having a BET specific surface area of 35 to 220 m.sup.2/g, based on 100 parts by weight of fluororubber, wherein the total amount of carbon black and hydrated amorphous silicon dioxide is 80 parts by weight or less.
