Operating device for a medical system for imaging and/or intervention
An operating device for a medical system for imaging and/or intervention is disclosed. In an embodiment, the operating device includes a housing; a grip region; a coupling unit; and a connecting unit. The connecting unit is configured to releasably connect to a holding structure for the operating device and, via the coupling unit, is coupled to the grip region such that a releasing of a releasable connection is caused by a gripping of the grip region with one hand of a person and an establishing of the releasable connection is caused by a letting go of the grip region. Further, the grip region is configured for carrying of the operating device by a gripping the grip region with one hand of the person.
X-ray image feedback for DXA scan FOV adjustment
A system for performing a scan of internal structures of an object/patient is provided. The system includes a radiation source operative to emit a radiation beam, a radiation detector operative to receive the radiation beam and generate an output signal based at least in part on the received radiation beam, and a controller in electronic communication with the radiation source and the radiation detector and operative to generate at least one image of the object/patient. The controller is further operative to determine an offset of the at least one image relative to an image reference and to employ the offset to automatically align the at least one image with the image reference without the need for stopping the operation of the radiation source and detector to reposition the object/patient being scanned.
MULTIMODAL RADIATION APPARATUS AND METHODS
An imaging apparatus comprises a rotatable gantry system positioned at least partially around a patient support; a first source of radiation coupled to the rotatable gantry system, the first source of radiation configured for imaging radiation; a second source of radiation coupled to the rotatable gantry system; and a first radiation detector coupled to the rotatable gantry system and laterally movable relative to a central beam of the first source of radiation to receive radiation from at least the first source of radiation over various fields of view. Alternative configurations of the imaging apparatus and methods of using the imaging apparatus are also provided.
RADIOGRAPHY APPARATUS, METHOD FOR OPERATING RADIOGRAPHY APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM FOR OPERATING RADIOGRAPHY APPARATUS
A radiation detector has a sensor panel unit which includes two sensor panels and in which end portions of the two sensor panels are arranged to overlap each other in a thickness direction. An image processing unit acquires two projection images from the two sensor panels. A combination unit of the image processing unit performs a process related to image quality on the projection image in a case in which a tomographic image which is a diagnosis image to be used for a doctor's diagnosis is generated and does not perform the process related to image quality on the projection image in a case in which a scout image which is a confirmation image for confirming a reflected state of the subject is generated.
COMPUTER TOMOGRAPHY APPARATUS
An imaging apparatus for use with an imaging device in order to image a subject. The imaging device includes an annular gantry having an opening and a table to accommodate the subject or a portion thereof for imaging. The imaging apparatus includes a platform and a positioning device. The imaging device is mounted to the platform. The annular gantry is in a fixed position relative to the platform. The table is horizontally displaceable relative to the annular gantry. The positioning device supports the platform and is configured to horizontally displace the platform relative to a supporting surface for the subject. The positioning device is configured to position the platform with the imaging device in at least one operational state in such a way that, during a relative movement of the table with respect to the annular gantry, the table remains stationary relative to the supporting surface.
RADIOGRAPHY APPARATUS
A radiography apparatus includes an upright imaging stand that is used for radiography on a subject, a camera as a detection sensor that immediately detects a state of the subject with respect to the upright imaging stand, a tablet terminal, and a reflective member. The tablet terminal displays a notification screen including an image output from the camera. The reflective member reflects the notification screen such that the subject facing the upright imaging stand visually recognizes the image.
System and method for subject shape estimation
A medical imaging system is provided. Imaging detector columns are installed in a gantry to receive imaging information about a subject. Imaging detector columns can extend and retract radially as well as be rotated orbitally around the gantry. The system can automatically adjust setup configuration and an imaging operation based on subject shape estimation information.
Systems and methods for a stationary CT imaging system
Various methods and systems are provided for stationary CT imaging. In one embodiment, a method for an imaging system includes activating a plurality of emitters of a stationary distributed x-ray source unit to emit x-ray beams toward an object within an imaging volume, where the x-ray source unit does not rotate around the imaging volume, receiving attenuated x-ray beams with one or more detector arrays to form a sparse view projection dataset, where each attenuated x-ray beam generates a different view, and reconstructing an image from the sparse view projection dataset using a sparse view reconstruction method.
Synchronized patient elevation and positioning apparatus for use with patient positioning support systems
An apparatus for transferring a supine patient to a prone position on a patient support structure, and for rotating such a prone patient between prone and supine positions without removing the patient from the patient support structure.
