Paraffin compositions including mainly even carbon number paraffins, and a method for manufacturing the same, is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the method involves contacting naturally occurring fatty acid/glycerides with hydrogen in a slurry bubble column reactor containing bimetallic catalysts with equivalent particle diameters from about 10 to about 400 micron. The even carbon number compositions are particularly useful as phase change material.

A heat storage composite material comprises components by weight: 30-55 parts of organic phase change material, 30-40 parts of two-dimensional thermally conductive carbon material, 10-20 parts of lamellar structure graphite, and 0-10 parts of oil-absorbing organic resin. A preparing method include steps of stirring the organic phase change material to disperse on a surface of the two-dimensional thermally conductive carbon material, and melting them so the organic phase-change material is adsorbed in gaps of the two-dimensional thermally conductive carbon material; stirring and mixing the lamellar structure graphite and the two-dimensional thermally conductive carbon material adsorbed with the organic phase change material in a mixer to obtain a mixed material; and placing the mixed material in a lamination mold for lamination treatment to obtain a sheet-shaped heat storage composite material. The heat storage composite material has high thermal conductivity and is not easy to leak.

The present disclosure relates to a phase change material (PCM) composition and a process for preparation thereof, wherein said composition comprising a phase change material, glass fibers and xanthan gum. In a preferred embodiment, the phase change material is water (or ice) and the g lass fibers are glass wool. HYDRATE ENERGY-STORAGE TEMPERATURE-CONTROL MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR

The present invention discloses a hydrate energy-storage temperature-control material and a preparation method therefor. The material includes a refrigerant hydrate and a cross-linked polymer. The preparation method comprises the following steps: first, preparing a refrigerant hydrate by using a high-pressure reactor, and conducting grinding, crushing and sieving to obtain hydrate particles; then, uniformly spraying polytetrafluoroethylene suspended ultrafine powder onto the surface of the hydrate particles by using an electrostatic spraying device, and putting the hydrate particles into a plasma instrument to modify polytetrafluoroethylene so as to allow free radicals to be formed on the polytetrafluoroethylene powder surface; finally, subjecting monomers to graft polymerization with the free radicals on the polytetrafluoroethylene surface under the irradiation of a high-pressure mercury lamp of UV lighting system to stabilize the structure of the material, preparing a final product. According to the present invention, a hydrate energy-storage temperature-control material with good stability is prepared. A method capable of preparing various types of refrigerant hydrate materials is provided. The product can give full play to the advantages of hydrate energy storage and temperature control, can be periodically used, and can be used in various fields such as building, refrigeration, etc.
