Stabilized DCD and/or alkyl thiophosphoric triamide solvent systems and use in agricultural applications
An inhibitor composition contains alkyl thiophosphoric triamide (or a mixture of alkyl thiophosphoric triamide and dicyandiamide), dissolved in a liquid medium comprising at least one organic solvent, at least one amine stabilizer and, optionally, at least one dye and/or at least one odor masking agent, is useful in making fertilizer compositions and in a method of fertilizing target plants.
RNA PRESERVATION SOLUTION AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE
Disclosed is nucleic acid preserving compositions and methods of manufacturing and using the same. Compositions include a carrier, a chaotropic agent, a buffering agent, a chelating agent, a surfactant, an alcohol, and a reducing agent. Compositions as aqueous solutions can include water as a carrier. Preferred embodiments include RNAse-free water, lithium chloride, sodium citrate, EDTA, CTAB or SLS, SDA 3C, and TCEP, with HCl optionally added to adjust pH. Some embodiments include a colored dye as a visual indicator. Methods of manufacturing include combining the components into a mixture, such as an aqueous solution. Methods of use include providing a biological sample that includes nucleic acid, preferably RNA, and contacting the biological sample with the composition. Kits include a biological sample collection apparatus and the composition. The composition is optionally disposed in a portion of the collection apparatus.

A heat transfer circuit that includes a main flow path for a working fluid that extends through a compressor, a condenser, an expander, and an evaporator. The working fluid includes CF.sub.3I. The heat transfer circuit also includes an additive stream configured to supply additive for the CF.sub.3I to the working fluid in the main flow path based on a discharge temperature of the compressor. A method for operating a heat transfer circuit that includes directing a working fluid including CF.sub.3I through a main flow path of the heat transfer circuit. The method also includes changing a concentration of additive for the CF.sub.3I based on a discharge temperature of the working fluid from the compressor.

Further disclosed is a method for preparing the gas phase rust-resisting material which is suitable for various metals.

Provided are: a stabilizer composition capable of imparting a vinyl chloride resin with excellent thermal stability, coloration resistance, and thermal coloration resistance; a vinyl chloride resin composition containing the same and a molded article of the composition. The stabilizer composition contains, with respect to 100 parts by mass of a component (A): 5 to 700 parts by mass of a component (B) and 5 to 200 parts by mass of a component (C). The component (A) is at least one organic acid zinc salt, the component (B) is at least one selected from the group consisting of organic acid barium salts, overbased barium carbonates, organic acid calcium salts and overbased calcium carbonates, and the component (C) is at least one hindered amine-based light stabilizer.

This invention relates to compositions comprised of diene-based elastomers containing an antioxidant comprised of a combination of tris(nonyl phenyl) phosphite (TNPP) and tetramethylethylene diamine (TMEDA). The invention further relates a rubber composition and to a polystyrene composite containing such elastomer compositions. The invention additionally relates to articles of manufacture thereof, including tires and polystyrene based articles. In one embodiment, the invention relates to a process of recovery of diene-based elastomer(s) from an organic solvent solution thereof by steam stripping the organic solvent therefrom in the presence of a combination of the TNPP and TMEDA.
