SPECIMEN RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM COMPRISING CABINET AND A SPECIMEN DRAWER POSITIONABLE BY A CONTROLLER IN THE CABINET
A specimen radiography system may include a controller and a cabinet. The cabinet may include an x-ray source, an x-ray detector, and a specimen drawer disposed between the x-ray source and the x-ray detector. The specimen drawer may be automatically positionable along a vertical axis between the x-ray source and the x-ray detector.
IMAGING SYSTEM GANTRY AND PATIENT DRAPE
An imaging system gantry and patient drape includes a gantry first outer sidewall covering portion biased into a deployed shape and collapsible, a gantry inner wall covering portion extending inward of the gantry first outer sidewall covering portion, and a patient envelope portion. One or more retainers secure a portion of the drape to the gantry. In some versions, one or more drape portions rotate with the gantry and one or more other drape portions do not rotate with the gantry.
Surgical probe and apparatus with improved graphical display
An apparatus for detecting a locating medium in tissue includes a probe, and a console. The probe includes a handle and a detector disposed on a distal end of the probe. The console is in communication and includes a display. The display has a first graphical representation and a second graphical representation. The first graphical representation is configured to depict a count real-time count based on a signal from the detector. The second graphical representation is configured to depict a target count.
MEDICAL DEVICES AND COMPOMENTS THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a medical device. The medical device may include a gantry, a table, and one or more disinfection devices. The gantry may include a bore configured to accommodate an object for scan. The table may be configured to support the object and move the object into the bore. The one or more disinfection devices may be configured for disinfection.
WRAP REPLACING APPARATUS
A wrap replacing apparatus according to the embodiments includes: an insertion port into which a medical device wrapped in a first bag is inserted; a peeler configured to peel off the first bag from the medical device inserted into the insertion port; a wrapper configured to wrap in a second bag the medical device from which the first bag is peeled off; and a take-out port from which the medical device wrapped in the second bag is taken out.
MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS
A medical diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a contact component, a deep ultraviolet source, and a processing circuitry. The contact component has a contact region that is contacted by a subject during a medical practice. The deep ultraviolet source is provided with the contact component to irradiate the contact region with deep ultraviolet rays. The processing circuitry is configured to control the deep ultraviolet source to irradiate the contact region with deep ultraviolet rays when the medical practice is not performed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POSITIONING AN ELONGATE MEMBER INSIDE A BODY
Systems and methods for introducing and driving flexible members in a patient's body are described herein. In one embodiment, a robotic method includes positioning a flexible elongated member that has a preformed configuration, wherein at least a part of the flexible elongated member has a first member disposed around it, and wherein the first member includes a first wire for bending the first member or for maintaining the first member in a bent configuration, releasing at least some tension in the first wire to relax the first member, and advancing the first member distally relative to the flexible elongated member while the first member is in a relaxed configuration.
MEDICAL IMAGE DIAGNOSIS APPARATUS
A medical image diagnosis apparatus according to one embodiment includes a gantry and a first light source. The gantry includes a first opening to which a subject is inserted. The first light source emits light capable of sterilization to the first opening.
Barrier-contained radiological sensor holder
The present invention is an improved barrier-contained radiological sensor holder. In particular, the present invention is directed to radiological sensor holder contained in a barrier to reduce or prevent contamination. The radiological sensor holder preferably comprises a sensor holder at least partly contained within a barrier having a closed end and an open end. The barrier preferably comprises elastomer latex material and the sensor holder preferably comprises a polymer-based material with a treated surface or material characteristics amenable to anchorage of the elastomer. Alternatively, the holder is a wood pulp-based material with naturally coarse or irregular surface characteristics providing anchorage infusion of the elastomer. The sensor holder preferably has a sleeve with a base, first and second sides, and an opposing face and a bite wing integrally formed with the sleeve along a spine on the base. The sensor holder may alternately include an expansion slot along the opposing face.
