Frame-sealing agent, display panel and display device
The invention discloses a frame-sealing agent, a display panel and a display device. The frame-sealing agent comprises an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a thermal curing agent and an ultraviolet photoinitiator, wherein the frame-sealing agent further comprises a compound which decomposes to produce a gas under a condition of light irradiation, heating or high temperature. In the invention, by providing a compound that decomposes to produce a gas under a condition of light irradiation, heating or high temperature, when the frame-sealing agent is cured, the compound decomposes to produce a gas with the effect of light irradiation, heating or high temperature. The light leak of the display screen at the position of backlight is obstructed by the gas. Additionally, the pressure of the gas can retard the diffusion of liquid crystal molecules, so that the contamination of the liquid crystal caused by the too early contact between the liquid crystal and the frame-sealing agent and the relevant display badness are avoided.
SEALANT MATERIAL
A sealant material for sealing threaded pipe joints that is a multifilament or spun polyphenylene sulfide yarn and a joint sealing composition comprising a silicone oil or a natural oil with a smoke point of about 230° C. or higher. The polyphenylene sulfide yarn is coated with the joint sealant composition. The material forms an effective seal and is resistant even when used in systems in which it is exposed to temperatures in excess of 280° C. The material may be provided in a dispenser.
Plasticizer free caulks and sealants comprising waterborne acrylic polymeric composites and methods for making the same
The present invention provides aqueous caulk or sealant compositions that are substantially free of any plasticizer comprising an aqueous emulsion copolymer having a broad measured glass transition temperature by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), soft phases and hard phases, and two separate Tan Delta transition temperatures as measured by dimensional mechanical analysis (DMA), (ii) one or more filler in a filler to binder ratio of up to 4:1, and (iii) from 0.2 to 5 wt. % as solids, based on the total weight of the composition, of one or more thickener or rheology modifier. In addition, the invention provides methods of making the composition comprising polymerizing by gradually adding from a flask into a polymerization vessel a soft monomer composition, and, after feeding at least 20 wt. % of such composition in the vessel, gradually adding into the flask a hard comonomer composition, feeding all flask contents into the vessel and polymerizing.
ACRYLIC RUBBER AND CROSSLINKABLE COMPOSITION THEREOF
An acrylic rubber that is a copolymer in which 1 to 3 wt. % of a fumaric acid monoalkyl ester monomer containing an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms is copolymerized as a crosslinkable comonomer, wherein 45 to 65 wt. % of n-butyl acrylate, 12 to 32 wt. % of 2-methoxyethyl acrylate, and 11 to 30 wt. % of ethoxyethoxyethyl acrylate are copolymerized in 100 wt. % of comonomers other than the crosslinkable comonomer. This acrylic rubber can suppress the reduction of oil resistance while improving cold resistance represented by a TR-10 value.
Process of controlled radical polymerization of branched polyacrylates
The present invention relates to living radical polymerization processes, reaction products of such processes, and compositions containing such reaction products. More particularly, the invention relates to a living radical polymerization to produce branched polymers, in particular branched polyacrylates.
PHENYLHYDRAZINE/ANHYDRIDE ADDUCTS AND ANAEROBIC CURABLE COMPOSITIONS USING SAME
Phenylhydrazine/anhydride adducts and anaerobic curable compositions using these adducts are provided. The compositions are particularly useful as adhesives and sealants.
Transparent sealant and its production and use
A transparent sealing compound, in particular for use in a wall penetration of lines or in a splice site of a cable set. In order to have greater flexibility the sealing compound consists of a radiation crosslinked, in particular UV-crosslinked, poly (alkyl acrylate). The sealing compound is crosslinked such that its elongation amounts to more than 1000% for a material thickness of 1.5 mm according to ISO 527-2/1BA/300 and its shear strength is less than 1000 min according to DIN EN 1943 (tested per method A, 625 mm.sup.2 contact surface area).
Method for forming polymer using boron compound, polymerization initiator and the polymer
The present invention provides a method for forming a polymer by using a mixture containing a polymerization initiator which is an adduct of a boron compound and a first unsaturated hydrocarbon compound, and a second unsaturated hydrocarbon compound, generating a radical by oxidization of the polymerization initiator and adding the radical to the second unsaturated hydrocarbon compound, thereby forming the polymer. According to the present invention, excellent controllability of alkylboranes for radical polymerization can be maintained and the structure of a polymerization initiation terminal can be freely selected and controlled. Thus, a terminal-modified polymer having functionality imparted to the terminal group can be prepared. In addition, a polymerization initiator having a plurality of polymerization starting points can be prepared, and polymers with special structures including multibranched polymers, grafted-type (comb-type) polymers and brush-shaped polymers can be prepared.
