METHOD FOR PREPARING A HYDROPHOBICALLY MODIFIED CLAY
The invention relates to a method for preparing a hydrophobically modified clay, wherein the clay modifying agent corresponds to a quaternary ammonium based compound. The present invention further relates to a hydrophobically modified clay obtainable by such a method and to a suspension comprising such a clay, as well to the use of such a hydrophobically modified clay and of a suspension comprising such a hydrophobically modified clay. Furthermore, the present invention is also directed to a polymeric composition comprising a hydrophobically modified clay and/or a suspension comprising a hydrophobically modified clay.
MOUNTING SYSTEM, A WINDOW ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE SAME, AND A METHOD OF FORMING THE WINDOW ASSEMBLY
A mounting system configured to support a component relative to a mounting surface of a vehicle includes a mounting bracket including a mounting portion configured to be coupled to the mounting surface of the vehicle. The mounting bracket defining a component receptacle configured to support the component. The mounting bracket comprises a first plastic material. The mounting system also includes a seal coupled to the mounting bracket and configured to engage the mounting surface of the vehicle to inhibit ingress of debris between the mounting portion and the mounting surface of the vehicle. The seal comprises a second plastic material, different than the first plastic material. The mounting system may be included in a window assembly where the mounting surface of the vehicle is an inner surface of a transparent pane and the component is a sensor.

SEALING SHEET, AND SEALING STRUCTURE AND DEVICE
A sealing sheet having a resin layer comprising a resin part (A) formed by a resin composition containing one or more resins selected from the group consisting of an acrylic-based resin and a urethane-based resin, and a resin part (B) having a water vapor transmission rate measured in conformity with JIS K 7129 of 15 g/m.sup.2/day or less, in which the resin part (A) and the resin part (B) are present on at least one surface of the resin layer. The sealing sheet excels in a suppressing effect on moisture intrusion of the sealing sheet itself, and, when manufacturing a sealing structure, excels in an effect to prevent moisture intrusion into the sealing structure from between a substrate (adherend) and the sealing sheet.
DEGRADABLE RUBBER COMPOSITIONS
This disclosure relates to degradable rubber compositions, such as those, for example, comprising at least one natural rubber; at least one polyurethane; at least one curing agent; and at least one complex using zinc chloride and a disulfide, wherein the degradable rubber composition is degradable in an aqueous composition.
Polyurethane polymer having a hardness of less than or equal to 60 Shore A
The present invention relates to a novel thermoplastically processible polyurethane polymer having a hardness of 60 Shore A, to compositions containing this polyurethane polymer, to the uses thereof and to articles containing this polyurethane polymer.
Process for producing polyurethane-polyisocyanurate elastomers, sealing materials and adhesives having a long pot life
Described herein is a process for preparing a polyurethane elastomer including the steps of (A) preparing an isocyanate prepolymer (a), where the isocyanate prepolymer has an isocyanate content in the range of 1 wt.-% to 9 wt.-%, and (B) preparing a reaction mixture by mixing at least one epoxy compound (b) with the isocyanate prepolymer (a) in presence of at least one catalyst (c), and where the amount of the alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt is 0.00001 to 0.1 mol per kg of the total weight of the isocyanate prepolymer (a), the epoxy compound (b) and the catalyst (c), and heating the mixture to at least 80 C. to obtain the polyurethane elastomer. Also described herein are a polyurethane elastomer obtained by the process and a method of using the polyurethane elastomer as part of a roller or as a sealant.
Sealing Compound Housing and Electronic Control Device
The disclosure relates to a sealing compound that can be applied wet and is curable to form an elastic seal. The sealing compound contains a matrix material and a corrosion-inhibiting additive. In addition, a housing having the elastic seal as well as an electronic control device with the housing are disclosed.
Electronic device including display side protection member
Disclosed is a foldable electronic device including a sealing member for protecting a side surface of flexible display. A foldable electronic device according to various embodiments of the disclosure may include: a foldable housing configured to be folded and unfolded, a flexible display disposed in the foldable housing, the flexible display including a display panel configured to display image information and a cover window covering a first surface of the display panel on which image information is displayed, the display panel having at least one portion configured to be bent according to folding and unfolding operations of the foldable housing, and a seal contacting a region of a side part of the flexible display with reference to the first surface of the flexible display, the region including a space between the cover window and the display panel, wherein the seal may include a polymer material which is configured to be bent according to the bending operation in a state of being in contact with a side surface of the flexible display during the bending operation of the flexible display.
Sealant material
A sealant material for sealing joints between male and female mating parts comprising: (a) an elongate flexible thread suitable for wrapping around at least one of the parts, and (b) a joint sealing composition comprising an anaerobically curable composition in solid form,
