The radiographic imaging apparatus includes a displacement mechanism that electrically displaces a radiation emission unit and a displacement mechanism controller that controls the operation of the displacement mechanism. The radiographic imaging cassette includes a remote operation unit that is provided in a housing to remotely operate the displacement mechanism and an operation instruction transmission unit that transmits an operation instruction for operating the displacement mechanism to the displacement mechanism controller in a case where the remote operation unit is operated.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR A DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE

A device and to an associated method for a diagnostic apparatus. A housing unit can be aligned by way of a securing unit which is connected to the housing and it can be controlled in such a way that the diaphragm unit which is connected to the x-ray source and is arranged in the housing unit can be aligned in accordance with a specified position.

Scanning system for three-dimensional imaging

A scanning system for three-dimensional imaging comprises a bench, a gantry frame, a light source, a sensor and a control unit. The bench is to support a subject to be scanned. The gantry frame is movably mounted at a lateral side of the bench. The light source is movably mounted on the gantry frame so as to emit a light for a radiographic purpose. The sensor is movably mounted at a side of the bench, by opposing to the subject with respect to the bench, so as to receive the light emitted from the light source. The control unit is electrically coupled with the gantry frame, the light source and the sensor so as thereby to perform motion controls upon the gantry frame, the light source and the sensor.

Apparatus and method for mechanically providing power to a generator on a continuous rotatable rotor of an X-ray scanner

A system including an x-ray scanner gantry having: a housing; a gantry gear; a rotor; a generator mounted on the rotor; and first and second generator gears connected to or engaged with one or more axles of the generator. The second generator gear is engaged with the gantry gear. A motor rotates the intermediate gear via a motor gear. A second actuator actuates the motor gear to engage the motor with the rotor. A control module operates in first and second modes and: while in the first mode, engages the intermediate gear to the first generator gear via the first actuator to rotate, via the motor gear, the intermediate gear and as a result the first generator gear; and while in the second mode, engage the motor to the rotor via the second actuator to rotate, via the motor gear, the rotor and as a result the second generator gear.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOBILE RADIOGRAPHY DEPLOYMENT

A mobile radiography system includes sensors to detect a tilt angle and or pitch angle of the system to prevent deployment of the extendable boom and/or column and/or prevent activation of a motor drive if the tilt angle or pitch angle exceeds a pre-set boundary.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IN-VIVO DETECTION OF LEAD IN BONE
20170245819 · 2017-08-31 ·

A system and corresponding method for detecting one or more high-atomic-number elements in a patient includes a Bremsstrahlung x-ray source that produces x-rays in an energy spectrum including an energy of at least 160 kiloelectron-volts (keV), a filter configured to absorb the x-rays in a region of the energy spectrum, and a collimator configured to receive the x-rays and output a collimated x-ray beam to be incident on a patient. The system and method can also include one or more collimated, energy-resolving x-ray detectors to detect fluorescent radiation emitted from the one or more high-atomic-number elements in the patient in response to the collimated x-ray beam incident on the patient. An alternative x-ray source can include a radioactive isotope. Scanning of the x-ray beam may also be performed. Embodiments enable practical clinical, in vivo measurements of lead in bone.

An improved configuration of a mobile-type radiographic image pickup device reliably stops on a flat path without play. More specifically, the prevent invention stops reliably on an inclined path. Where a carriage accelerates regardless of that fact that a deceleration control unit has begun to restrict the movement of the carriage, a brake control unit causes a brake device to operate. According to the present invention, if the carriage accelerates regardless of the fact that a deceleration control unit has begun to restrict the movement of the carriage, the brake device is promptly operated, and prevents concern regardless of the application of an instruction to stop the carriage which is travelling on an incline, and prevents the carriage from running for a long period to time.
