AIR COOLED PET SCANNER GANTRY
Provided is a PET scanner system having a PET scanner gantry that is configured for delivering a uniformly distributed cooling air to a plurality of detectors housed in the PET scanner gantry. The PET scanner gantry includes a cooling air delivery manifold that includes a patient tunnel portion; and a front funnel portion. The front funnel portion includes an annular interior wall defining an entry opening of the patient tunnel portion; and an air plenum has an annular structure for carrying a flow of pressurized cooling air received from a remote source supplements the pressurized cooling air with a supply of ambient air and directs it to the plurality of detectors.
System with a gantry of a computed tomography device and a docking station and method for cooling a component of the gantry
A system with a gantry of a computed tomography device and a docking station and method are for cooling a component of the gantry. In an embodiment, the system includes a gantry of a computed tomography device, the gantry including a chassis and a heat store; and a docking station. The gantry is movable via the chassis relative to the docking station. The gantry and the docking station are detachably connectable to one another such that a detachable coolant-exchange connection for exchanging a coolant and/or a detachable heat-conduction connection for heat conduction is formed between the heat store and the docking station.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR POWER SUPPLY
Various methods and systems are provided for a power supply system. In one example, a method and system includes a power distribution unit (PDU) configured to receive power from a main power source and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The UPS includes a timer and the UPS is configured to directly power an output alternating current (AC) load after the main power source in unavailable. The UPS is also configured to power an output high voltage direct current (HVDC) load after the main power source is unavailable for a time delay measured by the timer.
X-RAY INSPECTION APPARATUS
There is provided an X-ray inspection apparatus that inspects an inspection object by irradiating the inspection object with X-rays and detecting transmitted X-rays, the apparatus includes a module group (X-ray detection portion) which is disposed inside a housing and in which an electric component that is vulnerable to dew condensation caused by cooling of cooling means is mounted, a humidity sensor that monitors a humidity inside the housing, dehumidifying means (air conditioner) for dehumidifying an inside of the housing, and a control portion that performs supplying of power to the module group when the humidity monitored by the humidity sensor is equal to or lower than a predetermined value.
X-ray computed tomography apparatus
According to one embodiment, an X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes an X-ray tube, a photon counting detector, and processing circuitry. The X-ray tube radiates X-rays. The photon counting detector detects the X-rays radiated from the X-ray tube and transmitted through a subject. The processing circuitry adjusts a temperature adjustment amount used for regulating a temperature of the photon counting detector according to an imaging mode.
Systems for imaging
The present disclosure may provide a detector module of an imaging apparatus. The detector module may include a detector assembly configured to detect a signal associated with an object; a cover assembly configured to accommodate the detector assembly; and at least one cooling assembly operably coupled to the cover assembly. The at least one cooling assembly may be configured to cool the detector assembly by providing a cooling medium to the cover assembly.
CONSOLE FOR RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM, METHOD FOR OPERATING CONSOLE FOR RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM, AND OPERATION PROGRAM FOR CONSOLE FOR RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM
A console for a radiography system includes at least one processor configured to execute display-related processing of displaying, at an imaging site, a radiographic image obtained by radiography, the display-related processing including reception processing of receiving the radiographic image from a radiographic image detection device and image processing of processing the received radiographic image to a radiographic image for display, computer aided diagnosis processing on the radiographic image after the image processing, and priority processing of giving priority to the display-related processing over the computer aided diagnosis processing in a case where the display-related processing and the computer aided diagnosis processing compete with each other.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL TILEABLE GAMMA RAY DETECTOR
For gamma ray detection, 3D tiling is made possible by modules that include a gamma ray detector with at least some electronics extending away from the detector as a side wall, leaving an air or low attenuation gap behind the gamma ray detector. The modules may be stacked to form arrays of any shape in 3D, including stacking to form a Compton detector with a scatter detector separated from the catcher detector by the low attenuation gap where the electronics form at least one side wall between the detectors. The modules may be stacked so that the detectors from the different modules are in different planes and/or not part of a same surface (e.g., same surface provided with just 1D or 2D tiling).
Pressure regulator for X-ray apparatus
A pressure regulator for an x-ray apparatus includes a piston housing having a recess formed therein and a piston seated in the recess. The piston is free to reciprocate, and define a variable volume chamber, within the recess. A circumferential groove is formed in an exterior surface of the piston, and a seal is seated in the circumferential groove. A manifold in the piston housing places the chamber in fluid communication with an exterior of the piston housing.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR COOLING OF AN IMAGING SYSTEM
Various systems and devices are provided for an X-ray system. In one example, a mobile X-ray system, comprises a moveable arm comprising an X-ray source arranged at a first end and an X-ray detector arranged at a second end. The mobile X-ray system further comprises a cooling arrangement arranged within a housing shared with the X-ray source, wherein passages of the cooling arrangement do not extend outside the housing.
