Polymer and Organic Light-Emitting Diode Using Same
The present specification relates to a polymer and an organic light emitting device using the same, wherein the polymer is represented by the following Chemical Formula 1:
E1-[A].sub.a—[B].sub.b—[C].sub.c-E2 [Chemical Formula 1] Wherein A, B, C, E1, E2, a, b and c are described herein.
FLUORESCENT BARCODED TAGS FOR DRILLING DEPTH CORRELATION
A composition including a fluorescent polymer tag and an aqueous-based drilling fluid is provided. Also provided is a method of determining drill depth of recovered drill cuttings. The method includes introducing a fluorescent polymer tag into a drilling fluid, the fluorescent polymer tag includes the composition having the fluorescent compound linked to the polymer. The method then includes circulating the drilling fluid through a well during a drilling operation that creates formation cuttings such that the fluorescent polymer interacts with the formation cuttings, creating tagged cuttings. The returned cuttings are collected from the circulating drilling fluid at a surface of the well. The method then includes detecting the presence of the fluorescent polymer tag on the returned cuttings to identify the tagged cuttings, and correlating the tagged cuttings with the drill depth in the well at a time during the drilling operation.
Nanoparticle conjugates
Conjugates comprising a drug, cell or biological molecule bound to a photoluminescent polymer nanoparticle, in particular a cross-linked polyfluorene nanoparticle, are described herein, as well as their methods of manufacture and their uses in biological imaging and sensing applications.
CONJUGATED POLYMERS AND METHODS OF USE
The present disclosure provides fluorescent polyindenofluorene polymers or macromers with unique optical properties that are stable. The polymeric fluorophores are useful in various bioassays formats. The inventive polymers are useful in assays relying on fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) mechanisms where two fluorophores are used.
PHOTONIC CRYSTAL COMPOSITES WITH VARIABLE STRUCTURAL COLOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are a structural color variable photonic crystal composite material and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, a photonic crystal composite material having various changes in color by external stimulation and controlling the color change, and a method of manufacturing the same. The structural color variable photonic crystal composite material includes a metal having a metal oxide layer formed on its surface, wherein the metal oxide layer includes a plurality of pores, and a variable material that swells and contracts within the pores by external stimulation.
Aggregation-Induced Emission Polymer, Preparation Method and Application Thereof
The present disclosure provides an aggregation-induced emission polymer, a preparation method and application thereof. The aggregation-induced emission polymer provided in the present disclosure has a structure represented by formula I. The aggregation-induced emission polymer provided by the present disclosure has excellent fluorescence stability and biocompatibility; Because there are many benzene rings in the aggregation-induced emission polymer, the fat-solubility of the aggregation-induced emission polymer is increased, thereby changing the problem that cellulose is insoluble and difficult to be processed and modified. In the present disclosure, the aggregation-induced emission small molecule monomer is placed in a basal medium, and the bacterial seed solution is inoculated and then cultured to obtain the aggregation-induced emission polymer. The preparation method provided by the present disclosure has the characteristics of safety, environmental protection and simplicity, solves the shortcomings of complex and cumbersome synthesis process, and is beneficial to the large-scale production of AIE polymers.
