System and method for providing imaging parameters
A system that comprises an X-ray imaging device for capturing an X-ray image on an imaging film, and a device for reading out said imaging film. The imaging film includes an optically readable marking, and the X-ray imaging device and/or the readout device includes a device for reading information stored on the data carrier, the data device being designed to register the optically readable marking using said readout device. A method for providing information for a readout device is also disclosed.
Collimator
An N-M tomography system comprising: a carrier for the subject of an examination procedure; a plurality of detector heads; a carrier for the detector heads; and a detector positioning arrangement operable to position the detector heads during performance of a scan without interference or collision between adjacent detector heads to establish a variable bore size and configuration for the examination. Additionally, collimated detectors providing variable spatial resolution for SPECT imaging and which can also be used for PET imaging, whereby one set of detectors can be selectably used for either modality, or for both simultaneously.
Detector module system and medical apparatus for positron emission tomography
A detector module system for positron emission tomography including a plurality of gamma ray detector modules. Each pair of one detector module and one interconnection element includes mutually engaging locking means for releasably connecting the detector module to the interconnection element. Further each interconnection element includes locking means for releasably connecting at least two detector modules to said interconnection element. Further each of said gamma ray detector modules includes a sensor adapted to detect gamma radiation occurring from short-lived radionuclides radiating from a body and to generate a radiation output corresponding to the detected gamma radiation, and the detector module system comprises a processing circuitry adapted to receive said radiation output from each of the gamma ray detector modules and to generate a resulting radiation representation for the positron emission tomography event, based on the received radiation output. Also, a medical apparatus for positron emission tomography.
Wireless x-ray system
A wireless radiation system comprising: a generator comprising a first wireless communication module; and a radiation detector comprising a digital screen and a second wireless communication module, wherein said wireless radiation detector is configured to display a captured radiation image on said digital screen and to transmit the captured radiation image, using said second wireless communication module, to a server, wherein said first and second wireless communication modules are configured to wirelessly synchronize a radiation generation by said radiation generator and an exposure to the radiation by said radiation detector.
Systems and methods for surgical and interventional planning, support, post-operative follow-up, and, functional recovery tracking
Various systems and methods are provided for surgical and interventional planning, support, post-operative follow-up, and functional recovery tracking. In general, a patient can be tracked throughout medical treatment including through initial onset of symptoms, diagnosis, non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment, and recovery from the surgical treatment. In one embodiment, a patient and one or more medical professionals involved with treating the patient can electronically access a comprehensive treatment planning, support, and review system. The system can provide recommendations regarding diagnosis, non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment, and recovery from the surgical treatment based on data gathered from the patient and the medical professional(s). The system can manage the tracking of multiple patients, thereby allowing for data comparison between similar aspects of medical treatments and for learning over time through continual data gathering, analysis, and assimilation to decision-making algorithms.
Counterbalancing of detectors for nuclear medicine tomography systems
An N-M tomography system comprising: a carrier for the subject of an examination procedure; a plurality of detector heads; a carrier for the detector heads; and a detector positioning arrangement operable to position the detector heads during performance of a scan without interference or collision between adjacent detector heads to establish a variable bore size and configuration for the examination. Additionally, collimated detectors providing variable spatial resolution for SPECT imaging and which can also be used for PET imaging, whereby one set of detectors can be selectably used for either modality, or for both simultaneously.
RADIATION IMAGING SYSTEM
A radiation imaging system includes a radiation source and a notifying unit. The radiation source is for still image shooting and moving image shooting performed by the radiation imaging system to obtain image data of a subject. The notifying unit notifies whether a type of imaging to be performed is the still image shooting or the moving image shooting in a mode in which the type is instinctively recognizable by at least one of sense of sight, sense of hearing, and sense of touch.

Proximity detection
An N-M tomography system comprising: a carrier for the subject of an examination procedure; a plurality of detector heads; a carrier for the detector heads; and a detector positioning arrangement operable to position the detector heads during performance of a scan without interference or collision between adjacent detector heads to establish a variable bore size and configuration for the examination. Medical imaging system
A radiation reduction system that includes control logic for controlling an imaging device that is configured to provide an image of a subject during a medical procedure using electromagnetic radiation. The control logic automatically determines operating settings useful to generate one or more medically useful images of the subject while significantly reducing the overall radiation exposure to the subject and/or nearby personnel. The settings are determined based on factors such as age, body type, gender, and the like. The control logic may be in the imaging device, in a nearby computer such as a table or smart phone in communication with the imaging device, or in a remote server communicating with the imaging device directly, or via another computer.
