A method of controlling a medical apparatus which includes: establishing, by a mobile apparatus, a communication link between the mobile apparatus and the medical apparatus; when the communication link is established, detecting an operation mode of the mobile apparatus; determining a function corresponding to the detected operation mode from functions provided by the medical apparatus; and performing the determined function.

A radiation imaging system includes a setting information storage that stores setting information to be used for radiation imaging, a setting information backup unit configured to back up the setting information stored in the setting information storage, and an operation control unit configured to restore, in a case the setting information storage has failed, the setting information in the setting information storage based on the setting information backed up in the setting information backup unit.

A wireless radiation system comprising: a generator comprising a first wireless communication module; and a radiation detector comprising a digital screen and a second wireless communication module, wherein said wireless radiation detector is configured to display a captured radiation image on said digital screen and to transmit the captured radiation image, using said second wireless communication module, to a server, wherein said first and second wireless communication modules are configured to wirelessly synchronize a radiation generation by said radiation generator and an exposure to the radiation by said radiation detector.

In the radiography system, a camera image of the usage environment in which the electronic cassette is used is captured. An in-image cassette region of the electronic cassette is detected from the camera image. The cassette ID of the electronic cassette is acquired from the in-image cassette region. The acquired cassette ID is collated with the cassette ID of the use cassette set in the console to check whether the use cassette is present.

An X-ray imaging device includes a color sensor configured to generate a color signal indicating a particular color sensed, an imaging matrix of pixel detector elements that are each configured to detect photon energy and generate an image signal, and a controller that is coupled to the color sensor, the imaging matrix, and the wireless transceiver. The controller is configured to receive a color signal from the color sensor, determine an identifier of the computing device external to the X-ray imaging device based on the color signal, and change at least one operational setting of the X-ray imaging device based on the identifier.

Medical grid and bar code that can be used on MRI's, CAT Scans, X-rays, and as a reference on any scan. This grid would pinpoint an area or specific location on a person or animal for reference. This grid would be made of vertical and horizontal lines that are either lettered or numbered coordinates. For example, a swimmers cap could have a grid with the X,Y,Z coordinates printed in order to pinpoint the accuracy of the area requiring attention. The barcodes could be used for personal identification.

An X-ray input apparatus includes a body mountable on a holder of an X-ray imaging apparatus, an exposure button provided at an upper portion of the body and configured to receive an X-ray exposure ready command and an X-ray exposure command from a user, an input communicator communicating with the holder via a Bluetooth communication network, and an input controller controlling the input communicator to generate a Bluetooth packet comprising the X-ray exposure ready signal or the X-ray exposure signal and transmit the generated Bluetooth packet to the holder when the X-ray exposure ready command or the X-ray exposure command is input to the exposure button.

The present invention relates to a device (1) for determining positioning data for an X-ray image acquisition device (2) on a mobile patient support unit (3), the device comprising: a processing unit (10); and a status detector (11); wherein the status detector (11) is configured to acquire geometry data and type data of a mobile patient support unit (3) and of an X-ray image acquisition device (2) on the mobile patient support unit (3), and to transmit a status signal comprising the geometry data and the type data; wherein the processing unit (10) is configured to receive the status signal and data about region of interest position on the patient; and wherein, based on the status signal and the region of interest position, the processing unit (10) is configured to determine positioning and alignment data for an X-ray image acquisition device (2) on the mobile patient support unit (3), and to provide an image acquisition protocol for the X-ray image acquisition device (2). The device (I) may provide an X-ray image acquisition system having a simple and easy to operate construction.

In the radiography system, a camera provided in an X-ray source captures a camera image indicating a usage environment in which an electronic cassette is used. The electronic cassette is inserted into the field of view of the camera. An in-image cassette region of the electronic cassette is detected from the camera image. A cassette ID of the electronic cassette is acquired from the in-image cassette region. The acquired cassette ID is collated with registration information set in a console and a use cassette setting process is performed on the basis of the collation result.
