Device allowing the temporary storage and putting back into circulation of a certain quantity of catalyst in catalytic reforming installations
A device that firstly allows temporary storage of a certain quantity of catalyst and, secondly, allows putting back into circulation of this quantity of catalyst in regenerative reforming installations following an interruption in the circulation of the catalyst.
Reactor and heater configuration synergies in paraffin dehydrogenation process
An apparatus for heating a process fluid is presented. The apparatus is for improving the foot-print of a fired heater and to reduce the fired heater volume. The apparatus includes a W-shaped process coil to provide for a smaller single-cell fired heater, and a fired heater with a lower profile, providing flexibility in positioning relative to downstream reactors.

Methods and apparatuses for an integrated isomerization and platforming process
The present disclosure generally relates to methods and systems for reforming and isomerizing hydrocarbons. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a novel combination of two traditionally separate reforming and isomerization reaction zones. A first hydrocarbon stream comprising C.sub.5-C.sub.6 hydrocarbons is isomerized in a first isomerization zone. A second hydrocarbon stream comprising C.sub.7+ hydrocarbons is reformed thus producing a C.sub.7 hydrocarbon stream and a C.sub.8 hydrocarbon stream. The reformed C.sub.7 stream is then isomerized in a second isomerization zone.
PROCESS WITH CONTINUOUS CATALYTIC REGENERATION FOR TREATING A HYDROCARBON FEEDSTOCK
The invention relates to a process for the catalytic treatment of a hydrocarbon feedstock with continuous catalytic regeneration, in which process said feedstock is successively circulated in a plurality of reaction zones in series (R1, R2, R3, R4), the catalyst circulating as a moving bed successively in the plurality of reaction zones and flowing from the upstream end to the downstream end of each of the reaction zones and being transported by a carrier gas phase g1 from the downstream end of one reaction zone to the upstream end of the next reaction zone, characterized in that said carrier gas phase g1 has a density of greater than or equal to 1 kg/m.sup.3.

CATALYST STAGING IN CATALYTIC REACTION PROCESS
A reforming process is described. The reforming process includes introducing a hydrocarbon stream comprising hydrocarbons having 5 to 12 carbon atoms into a reforming zone containing reforming catalyst, the reforming zone comprising at least two reformers, each reformer having a set of reforming operating conditions, to produce a reformate effluent, wherein the last reformer contains less catalyst than the next to the last reformer.
