Systems and methods for producing an isomerization product. One or more isomerization reactors comprising a catalyst may be used to process an isomerization feedstock comprising a primary n-paraffin reactant and hydrogen gas, and the isomerization reactor may be operated at a pressure parameter at which the partial pressure of the primary n-paraffin is within about 70% to about 130% of its equilibrium vapor pressure to isomerize the primary n-paraffin reactant.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIGHT AROMATIC
20220389336 · 2022-12-08 ·

A method for producing light aromatics, includes the steps of: i) contacting a feedstock comprising heavy aromatic(s) with a catalyst in a fluidized reactor for aromatics lightening reaction in the presence of hydrogen to obtain a product rich in C6-C8 light aromatic(s) and a spent catalyst, wherein the heavy aromatic is one or more selected from C9+ aromatics; ii) separating the resulted product rich in C6-C8 light aromatic(s) to obtain hydrogen, a non-aromatic component, C6-C8 light aromatic(s) and a C9+ aromatic component; and iii) recycling at least a part of the C9+ aromatic component to the fluidized reactor. The method has strong adaptability to feedstocks and high flexibility in operation and allows a long-period stable operation. The method can produce high-value light aromatics from heavy aromatics that are difficult to be treated and utilized.

Process for deparaffinning a middle distillate feedstock using a catalyst based on IZM-2 zeolite and an MFI-type zeolite

The present invention relates to a process for deparaffinning a middle distillate feedstock, to convert, in good yield, feedstocks having high pour points into at least one cut having an improved pour point. Said process is performed with at least one catalyst comprising at least one hydro-dehydrogenating phase containing at least one metal from group VIB and at least one metal from group VIII of the Periodic Table of the Elements, and a support comprising at least one IZM-2 zeolite, a zeolite of WI framework type code and at least one binder.

Molecular sieve having mesopores, preparation method therefor, and application thereof

A molecular sieve has a silica/alumina molar ratio of 100-300, and has a mesopore structure. One closed hysteresis loop appears in the range of P/P.sub.0=0.4-0.99 in the low temperature nitrogen gas adsorption-desorption curve, and the starting location of the closed hysteresis loop is in the range of P/P.sub.0=0.4-0.7. The catalyst formed from the molecular sieve as a solid acid not only has a good capacity of isomerization to reduce the freezing point, but also can produce a high yield of the product with a lower pour point. The process for preparing the catalyst involves steps including crystallization, filtration, calcination, and hydrothermal treatment.
