A modified Y-type molecular sieve has a rare earth content of about 4% to about 11% by weight on the basis of the oxide, a phosphorus content of about 0.05% to about 10% by weight on the basis of P.sub.2O.sub.5, a sodium content of no more than about 0.5% by weight on the basis of sodium oxide, a gallium content of about 0.1% to about 2.5% by weight on the basis of gallium oxide, and a zirconium content of about 0.1% to about 2.5% by weight on the basis of zirconia; and the modified Y-type molecular sieve has a total pore volume of about 0.36 mL/g to about 0.48 mL/g, a percentage of the pore volume of secondary pores having a pore size of 2-100 nm to the total pore volume of about 20% to about 40%.

Highly random addition bypolymers for destabilization of complex emulsions in crude oil blends

The present invention is related to the use of ethylene alkanoate-alkyl acrylate bipolymers with a high randomness monomers distribution, which are synthesized by semicontinuous emulsion polymerization process, characterized because it is carried out using slow addition rate of the pre-emulsion feeding ({dot over (q)}≤0.009 kg.Math.L.sup.−1.Math.min.sup.−1), stabilized this last one by alkyl glycol ether type surfactants, at temperatures higher than 75° C. and with solids contents above 25 wt %, which avoids the formation of large sequences (blocks) of a same monomer. This structural characteristic gives the ethylene alkanoate-alkyl acrylate bipolymers a high efficiency as chemical agents for removal of complex water/crude oil emulsions of crude oil blends.

The method includes conducting pyrolysis of a plastic feedstock to produce plastic pyrolysis oil; feeding the plastic pyrolysis oil to a first fractionator to separate the plastic pyrolysis oil into a distillate fraction and a vacuum gas oil fraction; and feeding the distillate fraction to a two step oligomerization operation. The two step oligomerization operation includes feeding the distillate fraction to a first hydrotreating unit to remove di-olefins to produce a first product stream and feeding the first product stream to an olefin oligomerization reactor to react and combine mono-olefins into longer chain olefins. Such system may be integrated with a conventional refinery.

Conversion of an aerosolized hydrocarbon stream to lower boiling point hydrocarbons utilizing a fibrous filter

A method of converting a liquid hydrocarbon stream to lower boiling point hydrocarbons may include converting the liquid hydrocarbon stream to an aerosolized hydrocarbon particle stream, and subjecting the aerosolized hydrocarbon particle stream to reaction conditions. Reaction conditions may include a temperature from 25° C. to 1,000° C. and a pressure from 1 bar to 15 bar. The method may further include forming the lower boiling point hydrocarbons in the aerosolized hydrocarbon particle stream and separating the lower boiling point hydrocarbons from the aerosolized hydrocarbon particle stream. The lower boiling point hydrocarbons may comprise at least C.sub.2-C.sub.4 olefins.

The hydrogen addition process can include naphtha hydrotreatment, middle distillate hydrotreatment, vacuum gas oil hydrocracking, and vacuum gas oil hydrotreatment. The ODSO or ODSO and DSO components are converted to hydrogen sulfide, water and alkanes.

A modified Y-type molecular sieve has a rare earth content of about 4-11% by weight on the basis of rare earth oxide, a sodium content of no more than about 0.5 wt % by weight on the basis of sodium oxide, a zinc content of about 0.5-5% by weight on the basis of zinc oxide, a phosphorus content of about 0.05-10% by weight on the basis of phosphorus pentoxide, a framework silica-alumina ratio of about 7-14 calculated on the basis of SiO.sub.2/Al.sub.2O.sub.3 molar ratio, a percentage of non-framework aluminum content to the total aluminum content of no more than about 10%, and a percentage of the pore volume of secondary pores having a pore size of 2-100 nm to the total pore volume of about 20-40%. The modified Y-type molecular sieve has a high crystallinity and a high thermal and hydrothermal stability, and is rich in secondary pores.

A liquid-phase reactor has an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder disposed along an axial direction of the reactor. The outer cylinder has a top head, a straight cylinder section and a bottom head. An annular space is formed between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. A top end of the inner cylinder is open and is in communication with the annular space. The inner cylinder has an upper cylinder and a lower cylinder sequentially from top to bottom. The upper cylinder is positioned in the straight cylinder section, with its cross-sectional area being gradually reduced from top to bottom. The lower cylinder is positioned in the bottom head, with its cross-sectional area being gradually increased from top to bottom. An inorganic membrane tube extending along the axial direction of the reactor is provided in the lower cylinder so that a shell-and-tube structure is formed.

HYDROCRACKING PROCESS

A process for hydrocracking a petroleum feedstock involves: (a) hydrocracking the feedstock to obtain a hydrocracked effluent; (b) liquid/gas separation of the effluent to obtain a gaseous effluent and a liquid effluent; (c) fractionating the liquid effluent at a pressure P1, producing a first distillate and a first residue, (d) recycling a first portion of the first residue to hydrocracking, (e) rectifying a second portion of the first residue at a pressure P2 lower than or equal to the pressure P1, to obtain a secondary distillate, a secondary residue and a vapor stream, (f) purging a portion of the secondary residue, and (g) recycling all or part of the secondary distillate to hydrocracking.

Processes for producing liquid fuels from a mainly organic starting material with a reduced content in water and/or with a reduced content in solids are disclosed. The mainly organic starting material can be at least partially liquified and optionally further dewatered. The obtained at least partially liquid fraction can be thereafter used as feeding stream that is submitted to a pyrolysis treatment resulting in a solid gas fraction allowing the recovering of a liquid fuels after a controlled liquid solid separation treatment. There are also provided various other processes for producing liquid fuel from waste hydrocarbon and/or organic material as well as reactors, apparatuses, uses and managing systems thereof.

A method for combined production of renewable paraffinic products is disclosed, wherein the method includes providing a renewable paraffinic feed, and fractionating the renewable paraffinic feed into two fractions. Within the two fractions, a lighter fraction fulfils a specification for an aviation fuel component, and a heavier fraction fulfils a specification for an electrotechnical fluid component.
