FUEL INCLUDING POLY-OXYGENATED ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE
A composition including poly-oxygenated metal hydroxide material that comprises a clathrate containing oxygen gas (O.sub.2) molecules free of chlorine and a fuel, The poly-oxygenated metal hydroxide material, such as OX66™ material, is added to a fuel, such as, but not limited to, fuels such as petrol, alcohol and diesel, which are combustible in engines to create significantly increased horsepower and torque. The OX66™ material is added to fuel in different ratios to generate improved performance. The different ratios are based on several Tractors including the type and design of the engine, the type of fuel, and environmental parameters.
Mineral additive blend compositions and methods of use thereof
Mineral additive blend compositions and a method for operating a furnace are provided in order to avoid combustion problems such as agglomeration, deposition, corrosion and reducing emissions. A method for operating a furnace, such as a fluidized-bed reactor, pulverized-fuel combustor, and grate combustor, includes introducing fuel and a mineral additive blend including a clay and a functional mineral into the furnace.
Desulfurization system using catalyst for desulfurization
Disclosed is a desulfurization system using a catalyst for desulfurization, including a coal feed unit for conveying a combustible substance, a spray unit for spraying a catalyst for desulfurization, a coal pulverization unit for pulverizing the combustible substance conveyed from the coal feed unit, and a combustion unit for combusting the pulverized combustible substance, wherein during transfer of the combustible substance from the coal feed unit to the coal pulverization unit, the catalyst for desulfurization is sprayed using the spray unit and is mixed with the combustible substance. The desulfurization system of the invention can be simply and easily applied to various combustion facilities because, during the transfer of the combustible substance from the coal feed unit to the coal pulverization unit, the catalyst for desulfurization is sprayed and is mixed with the combustible substance, thereby efficiently reducing sulfur oxide (SO.sub.x) emission due to combustion of fossil fuel.
Nano perovskite materials as combustion improver for liquid and gaseous fuels
The present invention relates to use of Perovskite type of materials as combustion improver in gaseous and liquid fuels. Structurally, the Perovskite material consists of ABO.sub.3, A.sub.xB.sub.1-xC.sub.yO.sub.3 or A.sub.xB.sub.1-xC.sub.yO.sub.3 kind of material with stoichiometric deficiency and oxygen deficient sites. More particularly, the present invention relates to the nanosized perovskite materials stably dispersed in hydrocarbon medium and compatible to the fuel has been used to improve the combustion process and generate more heat output.
Filter including poly-oxygenated aluminum hydroxide for removing NOx
A filter and a poly-oxygenated aluminum hydroxide material comprising a clathrate containing oxygen gas molecules. The poly-oxygenated aluminum hydroxide material removes NOx from an effluent gas, such as gas emitted from an internal combustion engine. The NOx is held in stasis over a range of temperatures, and may be collected.
Systems and methods for vanadium corrosion inhibitors
A system includes a turbine combustor and one or more supply circuits configured to supply one or more fluids to the turbine combustor. The one or more supply circuits include at least a liquid fuel supply circuit fluidly coupled to a liquid fuel source and configured to supply a liquid fuel from the liquid fuel source to the turbine combustor. The system also includes a corrosion inhibitor injection system including a magnesium source storing a magnesium-based inhibitor that includes magnesium oxide (MgO) and an yttrium source storing an yttrium-based inhibitor that includes yttrium oxide (Y.sub.2O.sub.3). The corrosion inhibitor injection system is fluidly coupled to the turbine combustor and the one or more supply circuits, and is configured to inject the magnesium-based inhibitor and the yttrium-based inhibitor as vanadium corrosion inhibitors into the turbine combustor or the one or more supply circuits.
Comprehensive mineral supplement
A multifunctional comprehensive mineral supplement including molecular clusters, wherein at least a portion of the molecular clusters each has a metal core and one or more ligands attached to the metal core, wherein at least a portion of the metal core and/or one or more ligands is provided by or derived from a mineral component.
POROUS CERAMIC FILTERS AND METHODS FOR FILTERING
Disclosed herein are particulate filtration systems comprising a fuel source, a fuel burner, and a porous ceramic structure, the fuel source comprising at least one fuel additive capable of producing ash upon combustion. The resulting ash can be deposited on the porous ceramic structure in an amount sufficient to improve the filtration efficiency of the structure over a relatively short period of time or relatively short driving distances. Vehicles comprising such particulate filtration systems and methods for filtering particulate matter from a fluid stream are also disclosed herein. Further disclosed herein are methods for conditioning a particulate filter to improve the initial filtration efficiency.
Additive Composition and Method for Preventing Fouling, Slagging, and Corrosion of Biomass Multi Fuel Fired or Dedicated Boilers Using Alumina
Provided is an additive composition and method for preventing fouling, slagging and corrosion of biomass multi fuel fired or dedicated boilers using alumina, and more particularly, to an additive composition capable of effectively preventing from fouling, slagging and corrosion of the inner wall of a biomass boiler and optimizing the thermal efficiency of power generation facilities by increasing the melting temperature of an inorganic material contained in the biomass fuel using alumina, and the additive composition may include 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of alumina (Al.sub.2O.sub.3) in respective of 100 parts by weight of fuels fed into biomass multi fuel fired or dedicated boilers.
