INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing system comprises: an information processor capable of transmitting and receiving data; and an estimation unit that estimates dental notations of teeth in each of visible light images and X-ray images of oral cavities input through the information processor and estimates image shooting direction of each of the visible light images and the X-ray images. The information processor adds the dental notations and the image sensing direction to each of the visible light images and the X-ray images as metadata, and manages the visible light images and the X-ray images by associating the visible light images and the X-ray images using the metadata.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING GUIDEWIRE
An electronic device includes a processor configured to generate a position movement prediction field indicating prediction of a potential positional change of a branch path by a patient's biological activity for one or more branch paths based on a blood vessel image of a reference frame, correct guidewire information extracted from a blood vessel image of a target frame with respect to a catheter position of the reference frame, and select a branch path to dispose the guidewire information, among one or more branch paths of a blood vessel region based on the position movement prediction field and the corrected guidewire information; and a display configured to visualize the guidewire information on the selected branch path.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMAGING A SUBJECT
A medical imaging system includes an X-ray source for transmitting X-rays through a subject and a detector for receiving the X-ray energy of the X-rays after having passed through the subject. The system also includes a processing system which is programmed to generate a pre-shot image of the subject using low energy X-ray intensity from the X-ray source and to determine a plurality of acquisition parameters for a main scan of the subject based on the pre-shot image. The processing system is also programmed to determine a saturation time of the detector for the corresponding acquisition parameters based on detector calibration data and to determine a number of time frames required to reach the targeted dose based on the saturation time. The processing system is further programmed to apply an X-ray dosage level of the subject using the X-ray source based on the number of time frames and to generate the image of the subject based on the detected X-ray energy at the X-ray detector for the applied X-ray dosage level.
APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING AN ORIENTATION OF A PATIENT'S CHEST
The present invention relates to an apparatus (10) for determining an orientation of a patients chest. The apparatus comprises: an input unit (20); and a processing unit (30). The input unit is configured to receive an image of a patient, the image comprising image data of the patients chest. The input unit is configured to receive an X-ray radiograph of the patient's chest acquired by an X-ray imaging unit with an X-ray imaging axis extending from an X-ray source to an X-ray detector. The input unit is configured to provide the image and the X-ray radiograph to the processing unit. The processing unit is configured to determine an orientation of the patients chest in the X-ray radiograph with respect to the X-ray imaging axis, the determination comprising utilization of the image and the X-ray radiograph.
Systems and methods for determining examination parameters
Systems and methods for determining one or more target examination parameters is provided. The methods may include obtaining target examination information of a subject and generating one or more initial examination parameters based on the target examination information. The methods may further include obtaining one or more historical examination parameters associated with the subject and updating at least one of the one or more initial examination parameters based on the one or more historical examination parameters to obtain one or more target examination parameters. The one or more target examination parameters may be used for performing a target examination on the subject.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RADIOLOGIC AND PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGING OF PATIENTS
Methods for co-registering images of different imaging modalities include obtaining a photograph and a medical image, maximizing mutual information between the photograph and the medical image, automatically locating features common to both the photograph and the medical image based on maximized mutual information between the photograph and the medical image, and automatically highlighting the located features within the photograph or medical image.
X-ray device and method for controlling X-ray irradiation area using the same
An X-ray device includes a camera to image an object and output the image of the object, a display member using a touch screen to display the image of the object output from the camera, and an X-ray irradiation region of the object, an X-ray irradiation region controller to control a region of the object to which an X-ray is irradiated, and a control member to enable the irradiation region controller to control the region of the object to which an X-ray is irradiated according to the X-ray irradiation region, when the X-ray irradiation region is determined, based on the image of the object displayed in the display member.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED HEALTHCARE SERVICES
Healthcare services can be automated utilizing a system that recognizes at least one characteristic of a patient based on images of the patient acquired by an image capturing device. Relying on information extracted from these images, the system may automate multiple aspects of a medical procedure such as patient identification and verification, positioning, diagnosis and/or treatment planning using artificial intelligence or machine learning techniques. By automating these operations, healthcare services can be provided remotely and/or with minimum physical contact between the patient and a medical professional.
CONCURRENT DISPLAY OF HEMODYNAMIC PARAMETERS AND DAMAGED BRAIN TISSUE
Images can be generated with overlays indicating an amount of brain tissue damage based on the disruption of blood supply. Imaging data can be analyzed to determine perfusion parameters with respect to regions of the brain of an individual. The thresholds for the perfusion parameters with respect to the presence of damaged brain tissue can be based on a period of time elapsed since the onset of a biological condition disrupting blood flow to one or more regions of the brain of the individual. The imaging data can also be analyzed to determine measures of hypodensity with respect to regions of the brain of the individual. A likelihood of the measures of hypodensity corresponding to damaged brain tissue can also be determined based on the period of time elapsed since the onset of the biological condition.
AUTOMATED CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS
A method and apparatus for analyzing diagnostic image data are provided in which a plurality of acquisition images of a vessel of interest having been acquired with a pre-defined acquisition method is received at a trained classifying device and classified, by the classifying device, to extract at least one quantitative feature of the vessel of interest from at least one acquisition image of the plurality of acquisition images. The at least one quantitative feature is then output associated with the at least one acquisition image while the acquisition of the diagnostic image data is still in progress and one or more adjustable image acquisition settings are adjusted based on the at least one quantitative feature to optimize the acquisition of the diagnostic image data.
