Systems, methods, computing devices, and storage media for medical examination
The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, computing devices, and storage media for medical examination. The medical examination system comprises: a breathing guiding apparatus configured to guide a breathing of a subject; an imaging device configured to scan the subject; and a controller coupled to the breathing guiding apparatus and configured to cause the breathing guiding apparatus to generate a breath guiding state for guiding the breathing of the subject.
CARDIAC PHASE GATING SYSTEM FOR RADIATION THERAPY
Systems and techniques for reliably predicting a motion phase for non-invasive treatment of the heart. The system and methods may account for both respiratory and cardiac cycles in characterizing the motion of the heart relative to the irradiation source. The system and methods may also include a heartbeat sensor that provides an independent reference indication of the cardiac phase to provide real-time or near real-time quality assurance of a current predicted phase indication. The disclosed system and methods may be configured for use in one of two modes: “beam-gating” and “beam-tracking”. For beam-gating, the predicted cardiac phase is compared to the desired gating window, based on the patient-specific treatment plan, to determine if a gate ON or gate OFF signal should be set. For beam-tracking, the predicted cardiac phase is used to load the appropriate beam parameters based on the patient-specific and motion phase-dependent treatment plans.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, MOBILE MEDICAL IMAGING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND IMAGE PROCESSING PROGRAM
A console of a mobile radiography apparatus includes a CPU that acquires a fluoroscopic image captured by a radiation detector and a visible light image captured by a visible light camera as a moving image related to the capture of the fluoroscopic image of a subject by the mobile radiography apparatus. The CPU extracts a frame to be subjected to a support process, which is a diagnosis support process or an imaging support process, from the moving image. A GPU executes the support process for the extracted frame.
Single-pass imaging and radiation treatment delivery via an extended rotation gantry
An example method of radiation therapy in a radiation therapy system that includes a gantry with a treatment-delivering X-ray source and an imaging X-ray source mounted thereon is described. The method includes rotating the gantry in a first direction at a first rotational velocity about an open bore and concurrently rotating an annular support structure at a second rotational velocity about the open bore, wherein the second rotational velocity is less than the first rotational velocity. While continuing to rotate the gantry in the first direction about the open bore from a first position to a treatment position, the method also includes generating multiple images of a target volume disposed in the bore using the imaging X-ray source. Upon rotating the gantry to the treatment position, the method includes initiating delivery of a treatment beam to the target volume with the treatment-delivering X-ray source.
Blood flow function examination apparatus and X-ray diagnostic apparatus
According to one embodiment, there is provided an X-ray diagnostic apparatus which comprises an X-ray generation unit configured to irradiate an object with X-rays; an X-ray detection unit configured to detect X-rays applied by the X-ray generation unit and transmitted through the object; an image generation unit configured to generate an X-ray image based on X-rays detected by the X-ray detection unit; a recording unit configured to record pressure data acquired by using a pressure sensor provided on a guide wire; a measurement position setting unit configured to set a measurement position for a pressure by the pressure sensor using the X-ray image; and a display unit configured to display the X-ray image almost in real time and superimpose and display the measurement position set by the measurement position setting unit.
AUTOMATED CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY ANALYSIS
A method and apparatus for analyzing diagnostic image data are provided in which a plurality of acquisition images of a vessel of interest having been acquired with a pre-defined acquisition method is received at a trained classifying device and classified, by the classifying device, to extract at least one quantitative feature of the vessel of interest from at least one acquisition image of the plurality of acquisition images. The at least one quantitative feature is then output associated with the at least one acquisition image while the acquisition of the diagnostic image data is still in progress and one or more adjustable image acquisition settings are adjusted based on the at least one quantitative feature to optimize the acquisition of the diagnostic image data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PATIENT MONITORING
The present disclosure provides a system for patient monitoring. The system may cause a medical device to perform a treatment or a scan on a patient who remains in a breath-hold status. During the treatment or the scan of the patient, the system may acquire one or more parameter values relating to one or more status parameters that reflect the breath-hold status of the patient using a monitoring device. The system may also predict a breaking point of the breath-hold status based on the one or more parameter value. The system may further adjust the treatment or the scan based on the breaking point of the breath-hold status.
ADAPTION OF A MEDICAL COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY IMAGING PROCESS TO AN INDIVIDUAL RESPIRATION BEHAVIOUR OF A PATIENT
A method of adaption of a medical computed tomography imaging process to an individual respiration behaviour of a patient comprises: recording a respiratory movement of a patient by monitoring a respiratory surrogate, and adapting the medical computed tomography imaging process based on the recorded respiratory movement of the patient. An adaption device and a medical computed tomography imaging system are also described.
CALCULATING A FRACTIONAL FLOW RESERVE
A method for vascular assessment is disclosed. The method, in some embodiments, comprises receiving a plurality of 2-D angiographic images of a portion of a vasculature of a subject, and processing the images to produce a stenotic model over the vasculature, the stenotic model having measurements of the vasculature at one or more locations along vessels of the vasculature. The method, in some embodiments, further comprises obtaining a flow characteristic of the stenotic model, and calculating an index indicative of vascular function, based, at least in part, on the flow characteristic in the stenotic model.
RADIOGRAPHIC IMAGING SYSTEM
A radiographic imaging system includes an irradiating apparatus, a first clock, a radiographic imaging apparatus, a second clock and a hardware processor. The irradiating apparatus generates radiation. The first clock keeps time and works with the irradiating apparatus. The radiographic imaging apparatus generates image data based on received radiation. The second clock keeps time and works with the radiographic imaging apparatus. The hardware processor (i) obtains a clock value of the first clock at a predetermined time point and a clock value of the second clock at the predetermined time point respectively as first clock information and second clock information, (ii) makes a determination as to whether a specific condition is met based on the obtained first clock information and the obtained second clock information, and (iii) in response to the specific condition being met, performs a specific output.
