The present invention provides a refrigerating machine oil including a lubricating base oil and a compound represented by the following formula (A):

wherein R.sup.a and R.sup.b each independently represent a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R.sup.c represents a divalent hydrocarbon group, X represents a polar group, and Z.sup.a and Z.sup.b each independently represent oxygen atom or sulfur atom.

An electric compressor is provided which has: in a sealed container, a compression mechanism to compress a refrigerant and an electric motor to drive the compression mechanism, wherein the refrigerant contains 20% by mass or more of hydrofluoroolefin, and a refrigerator oil stored in the sealed container contains; polyvinyl ether as a base oil; an alicyclic epoxy compound in an amount of 0.1% by mass or more and 2.0% by mass or less relative to the base oil; an aliphatic epoxy compound in an amount of 0.1% by mass or more and 2.0% by mass or less relative to the base oil; and tertiary phosphate in an amount of 0.1% by mass or more and 2.0% by mass or less relative to the base oil.

The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition containing: a base oil, (A) a benzotriazole derivative having a particular structure, (B) an epoxy compound, and (C) an ashless friction modifier, the ashless friction modifier (C) being contained in an amount of 0.20% by mass or more based on the total amount of the lubricating oil composition.

The shaft includes a wear-resistant sleeve-like treatment on at least a portion of an outer surface of the shaft adjacent the bearing. The lubricant is a lubricant blend composition that includes two or more lubricants, the two or more lubricants including a first lubricant and a second lubricant. The first lubricant is present at a higher volume percentage than the second lubricant, and the first lubricant includes a higher viscosity than the second lubricant.

A refrigerator oil composition, including a refrigerant containing one or more unsaturated fluorinated hydrocarbon compounds of the following general formula (1):
C.sub.xF.sub.yH.sub.z(1) where x is an integer of 2 to 6, y is an integer of 1 to 11, z is an integer of 1 to 11, and one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds are present. The refrigerator oil composition further includes a base oil (A) selected from the group consisting of a polyalkylene glycol compound, a polyvinyl ether compound, a copolymer of poly(oxy)alkylene glycol or a monoether thereof and a polyvinyl ether, and a polyol ester compound, and an epoxy compound (B), where the epoxy compound (B) contains the following (B1) and (B2): (B1) at least one divalent group represented by the following formula (1),

A working fluid composition for a refrigerating machine, containing: a refrigerant containing trifluoroiodometbane; and a refrigerating machine oil containing a polyol ester and a hindered phenol compound, wherein a content of the hindered phenol compound is 0.6 to 10% by mass based on a total amount of the refrigerating machine oil.

A working fluid composition for a refrigerating machine, containing: a refrigerant containing trifluoroiodometbane; and a refrigerating machine oil containing a polyol ester and a hindered phenol compound, wherein a content of the hindered phenol compound is 0.6 to 10% by mass based on a total amount of the refrigerating machine oil.
