The first radiation source may be configured to emit a first cone beam toward a first region of the object. The second radiation source may be configured to emit a second beam toward a second region of the object, the second region including at least a part of the first region. The processor may be configured to obtain a treatment plan of the object, the treatment plan including parameters associated with radiation segments. The processor may be further configured to control an emission of the first cone beam and/or the second beam based on the parameters associated with the radiation segments to perform a treatment and a 3-D imaging simultaneously.

System and method for optimizing nuclear imaging appropriateness decisions

Methods and systems of accelerating the adoption of a medical treatment by healthcare providers are disclosed. The methods include providing to a healthcare provider a set of selectable criteria for determining whether a specific medical treatment is indicated for a particular patient, analyzing the criteria selected, and indicating to the healthcare provider whether the medical treatment is indicated. A system and methods are provided which are suitable for optimizing the use of nuclear imaging for assessing risks of cardiovascular disorders and, when appropriate, for implementing intervention strategies to reduce such risks.

Wireless x-ray system

A wireless radiation system comprising: a generator comprising a first wireless communication module; and a radiation detector comprising a digital screen and a second wireless communication module, wherein said wireless radiation detector is configured to display a captured radiation image on said digital screen and to transmit the captured radiation image, using said second wireless communication module, to a server, wherein said first and second wireless communication modules are configured to wirelessly synchronize a radiation generation by said radiation generator and an exposure to the radiation by said radiation detector.

A non-transitory recording medium storing a computer readable program that causes a computer of a moving image management apparatus, which manages a radiographic moving image, to perform: obtaining that is obtaining a first radiographic moving image and a second radiographic moving image, the first radiographic moving image showing a movement of a subject while breathing is repeated a first number of times per unit time, and the second radiographic moving image showing a movement of the subject while breathing is repeated a second number of times that is different from the first number of times per the unit time; and associating that is associating respective numbers of breaths during imagings with the first radiographic moving image and the second radiographic moving image that are obtained in the obtaining.

Methods, systems, and apparatus for determining radiation doses

Methods and apparatus for determining radiation doses based on phantom matching are disclosed. An example apparatus includes memory to store computer readable instructions; and processor circuitry to execute the computer readable instructions to prompt a capture of a second scout image when at least one of: (A) a first anatomical landmark in a first scout image of a first scout image file does not include an organ, (B) a first set of dimensions of the first anatomic landmark in the first scout image cannot be determined, or (C) the first set of dimensions are outside of a predefined range; and calculate a radiation dose for an organ in a second anatomical landmark of a second scout image file corresponding to the second scout image.

Automatic detection and generation of medical imaging data analytics

An information system and user interface to enable the analysis of clinical data for operational improvement and issue identification in medical imaging procedures is disclosed. In an example, opportunity and usage analytics are generated from relevant imaging procedure data (e.g., radiology procedure data) through operations including: obtaining clinical data that indicates usage of imaging resources to perform medical imaging procedures; analyzing the usage of the imaging resources from the clinical data, to identify values of opportunities for predicted changes to the usage of the imaging resources; and generating a visualization of the values of the opportunities for output in a graphical user interface, the visualization indicating values of opportunities relative to past usage and predicted changes to the usage of the imaging resources. Further examples also enable a detailed visualization and interaction with data for a particular opportunity in relation to medical facilities, organizations, modalities, and staffing resources.

A radiation imaging system includes a plurality of radiation imaging apparatuses each of which includes a radiation detecting unit that performs an imaging operation for capturing a radiation image based on radiation radiated from a radiation generating apparatus, a control apparatus that communicates with the plurality of radiation imaging apparatuses, a calculation unit that calculates information indicating whether a part or all of pixels of the radiation image are saturated, and an image acquiring unit that acquires a radiation image from a radiation imaging apparatus selected from among the plurality of radiation imaging apparatuses based on the information.

Radiography apparatus and radiography system

A radiographic image capturing apparatus includes: a two-dimensional array of radiation detecting elements that generate one or more electric charges in proportion to a dose of incident radiation; and a control unit that performs control, at least, to read the electric charges from the radiation detecting elements and generate image data. An image capturing mode is switchable between a controlled mode in which the radiographic image capturing apparatus is under control of an external console and a stand-alone mode in which the radiographic image capturing apparatus autonomously performs image capturing without the control of the console. When the image capturing mode is switched to the controlled mode or the stand-alone mode, the control unit changes its own process so as to meet the switched image capturing mode.
