Ultrasonic CT device, control method of ultrasonic CT device, and ultrasonic transmission and reception device
An object of the invention is to provide an ultrasonic CT device in which a reflected signal or the like from an object disposed close to transducers is received, and a reception signal thereof can be received by a receiver while transceivers whose number is smaller than the number of the transducers are used. The ultrasonic CT device includes: a transducer array in which a plurality of transducers are arranged; transceivers whose number is smaller than the number of the transducers; and a transmission transducer selector and a reception transducer selector disposed for each of the transceivers. While a transmitter included in the transceiver is selectively connected to any of the transducers in the transducer array by the transmission transducer selector, a receiver included in the transceiver is selectively connected to any of the transducers in the transducer array by the reception transducer selector.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CORRELATING REGIONS OF INTEREST IN MULTIPLE IMAGING MODALITIES
Methods and systems for identifying a region of interest in breast tissue utilize artificial intelligence to confirm that a target lesion identified during imaging the breast tissue using a first imaging modality (e.g. x-ray imaging) has been identified using a second imaging modality (e.g. ultrasound imaging). A computing system operating a lesion matching engine utilizes a machine learning classifier algorithm trained on cases of x-ray images and corresponding ultrasound images in which lesions were identified for further analysis. The lesion matching engine analyzes a target lesion identified with x-ray imaging and a potential lesion identified with ultrasound imaging to determine a likelihood that the target lesion is the same as the potential lesion. A confidence level indicator for the lesion match is presented on a display of a computing device to aid a healthcare provider in locating a lesion in breast tissue.
Implant assessment using ultrasound and optical imaging
A system may include an ultrasound probe and a controller unit configured to obtain a baseline ultrasound image of a patient's breast area using the ultrasound probe and to obtain a follow-up ultrasound image of the patient's breast area using the ultrasound probe. The controller unit may further be configured to use one or more machine learning models to compare the baseline ultrasound image with the follow-up ultrasound image; detect a change in a morphology or integrity of the patient's breast area based on the comparison of the baseline ultrasound image with the follow-up ultrasound image; and generate a recommendation for a medical intervention based on the detected change.
SALVAGE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LOCALIZING AND REMOVING A BREAST TISSUE MARKER CLIP AT SURGERY AFTER A FAILED SPECIMEN RADIOGRAM
A salvage device for localizing a tissue marker clip includes an elongate handle having a metal ball connected to its distal end, and a probe connected to a distal end of the radiopaque fiducial element. A lumen extends through at least a portion of the elongate handle, the metal ball and the probe, terminating at a distal tip of the probe. A deployable tissue engagement member is housed at least partially within the lumen and connected to a proximal switch.
DUAL MODE THREE-DIMENSIONAL BREAST IMAGING DEVICE AND METHOD
A method and apparatus for dual mode imaging uses an ultrasonic detection device, a diffuse optical tomography (DOT) detection device for imaging a breast. The DOT detection device is configured to detect changes of tissue blood oxygen. A host machine in communication with the ultrasonic detection device and the DOT detection device is used for imaging the breast by simultaneously generating functional images and structural information images of the breast based on the imaging.
Method for postural independent location of targets in diagnostic images acquired by multimodal acquisitions and system for carrying out the method
A method for postural independent location of targets in diagnostic images acquired by multimodal acquisitions, compensating for deformation of soft tissues due to changing posture, includes generating a transition of a digital image of the inside of a target region from a first to a second position by correlating the position of markers placed on the external surface of the target region in a digital image of the inside of the target region and in a digital representation of the external surface of the target region acquired by optically scanning the external surface; and at a later time registering the diagnostic image of the inside of the target region, transitioned into the second position, with a diagnostic image of the same target region acquired with the target region in the second position by matching a second representation of the external surface of the target region in the second position without markers with the diagnostic image of the inside of the target region transitioned into the second position.
System and method for diagnostic vector classification support
The diagnostic vector classification support system and method disclosed herein may both reduce the time and effort required to train radiologists to interpret medical images, and provide a decision support system for trained radiologists who, regardless of training, have the potential to miss relevant findings. In an embodiment, a morphological image is used to identify a zone of interest in a co-registered functional image. An operator's grading of a feature at least partially contained within the zone of interest is compared to one or more computer-generated grades for the feature. Where the operator and computer-generated grades differ, diagnostic support can be provided such as displaying additional images, revising the zone of interest, annotating one or more displayed images, displaying a computer-generated feature grade, among other possibilities disclosed herein.
HOLDING DEVICE
A holding device wherein: a holding tool including a curved and rigid surface formed in accordance with a shape of a body surface of a body part of a subject along with an adhesive layer having adhesiveness to a skin surface of the subject on the curved and rigid surface side; an elongated arm member having one end portion to which the holding tool is attached; and a fixing tool for fixing the arm member to a fixed object, attached to an end portion of the arm member on the side opposite to the end portion on the side to which the holding tool is attached.
ACOUSTIC WAVE APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An acoustic wave apparatus is used, the apparatus comprising: a supporting member supporting an examinee and having insertion opening; a subject holding member holding the subject; a transducer array including transducers and being distant from the subject holding member; a load acquiring unit acquiring a load value applied between the supporting member and the subject holding member based on an amount of deformation of the subject holding member; a memory unit storing a first load reference value determined based on the amount of deformation of the subject holding member and an area applied with the load when the subject holding member and the transducer array come into contact with each other; a comparing and determining; and an interlock controlling unit.
ULTRASOUND SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD OF ULTRASOUND SYSTEM
In an ultrasound system and a control method of the ultrasound system, a second region-of-interest specifying unit specifies a second region of interest included in an ultrasound image, and an identity determination unit determines whether or not a first region of interest included in a radiation image and the second region of interest are identical to each other.
