In an ultrasound system and a control method of the ultrasound system, a first position of an ultrasound probe on a nipple of a subject and a second position of the ultrasound probe on epidermis above a region of interest in a three-dimensional space are acquired, and the region of interest and the epidermis in an ultrasound image are specified. A first linear distance L1 from the first position to the second position in the three-dimensional space and a second linear distance L2 from the region of interest to the epidermis above the region of interest in the ultrasound image are calculated. Then, a third linear distance L3 from the nipple to the region of interest in the ultrasound image is calculated on the basis of the first linear distance L1 and the second linear distance L2.

Based on rectangular features of the breast image, a region of interest including an aberrant region in the breast image is obtained by applying a detection model. The aberrant region is further acquired from the region of interest, and a plurality of feature parameters of the aberrant region are extracted for a property analysis of the aberrant region.

An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system performs elastography using mechanically generated vibrations from a vibration assembly attached to an ultrasound probe. An attachment member attaches the vibration assembly to the probe. A vibration motor is mounted in a motor mount and applies vibration energy to the body in which shear waves are to be measured, at a location adjacent to the probe. The vibration motor mount is coupled to the attachment member by a vibration isolation element such as a spring, rubber band, or elastic compound which isolates the probe from deleterious vibration energy from the vibration motor.

The annular members and the bottom member are configured to relatively displace the adjacent annular member on the side of the base member or the base member in a communication direction. Some of the plurality of optical fibers is attached to the plurality of annular members.
