Fetal imaging system and method
11523799 · 2022-12-13 · ·

An ultrasound fetal imaging system uses an acceleration sensor (16) for generating an acceleration signal relating to movement of the ultrasound transducer (10). A user is guided in how or where to move the ultrasound transducer based on the results of image processing of the ultrasound images. The user can thus be guided to move the transducer in a certain direction so as to achieve a complete scan of a fetus in a shortest possible time. This limits exposure of the expectant mother to the ultrasound energy. The fetal image obtained may be used to determine a fetal weight, for example using regression analysis based on some of the parameters derived from the obtained image.

INSPECTION APPARATUS

An inspection apparatus includes a measurement apparatus that measures an inner diameter and a blood flow velocity in an artery from a fetus to a placenta of a pregnant woman, a calculation apparatus that calculates a Reynolds number based on the inner diameter and the blood flow velocity in the artery measured by the measurement apparatus, and a determination apparatus that determines, for a pregnant woman who is 20 weeks or more pregnant, that the fetus may be developing FGR in a case that the Reynolds number is less than a first threshold value.

Fetal health data monitoring

A system for monitoring fetal health data and mother health data comprises a belly-covering garment that is configured to at least partially cover a belly and to hold one or more sensor modules directly adjacent to the belly. One or more sensor modules disposed within the belly-covering garment. The one or more sensor modules comprise a pulse-oximeter sensor that gathers pulse oximetry data from the mother through contact with the belly. The one or more sensor modules also comprise an accelerometer sensor that gathers movement data from the mother. Additionally, the one or more sensor modules comprise a fetal sensor that gathers health data from a fetus within the belly.

Ultrasonic device, and method and system for transforming display of three-dimensional ultrasonic image thereof

An ultrasonic device and a method and system for transforming the display of a three-dimensional ultrasonic image thereof. The method comprises: first acquiring original ultrasonic three-dimensional body data including a tested object (S10); detecting the orientation of the tested object from the original ultrasonic three-dimensional body data according to image features of the tested object (S20); then comparing the orientation of the tested object with a desired orientation, so as to obtain a rotation transformation parameter in a three-dimensional coordinate system (S30); next, rotating and transforming the original ultrasonic three-dimensional body data according to the rotation transformation parameter, so as to obtain the transformed three-dimensional body data (S40); and finally, outputting the transformed three-dimensional body data (S50). Therefore, the ultrasonic three-dimensional body data of the tested object can automatically rotate to the desired orientation without requiring manual adjustment, thereby improving the efficiency thereof.

Systems and methods for performing a measurement on an ultrasound image displayed on a touchscreen device

The present embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for performing a measurement on an ultrasound image displayed on a touchscreen device. The method may include: receiving, via the touchscreen device, first input coordinates corresponding to a point on the ultrasound image; using the first input coordinates as a seed for performing a contour identification process on the ultrasound image, wherein the contour identification process performs contour evolution using morphological operators to iteratively dilate from the first input coordinates; upon identification of a contour from the contour identification process, placing measurement calipers on the identified contour; and storing a value identified by the measurement calipers as the measurement.

SYSTEM FOR SKIN CANCER TREATMENT USING LOW INTENSITY ULTRASOUND

The present invention relates to a system for skin cancer treatment using low intensity ultrasound. The system comprises an ultrasound transducer, a temperature sensing unit, and a control unit. The temperature sensing unit measures the temperature of the skin being exposed to ultrasound and provides temperature data to the control unit, which controls the ultrasound transducer accordingly.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING TRANS-ABDOMINAL FETAL OXIMETRY OR PULSE-OXIMETRY

Systems, devices, and methods for performing trans-abdominal fetal oximetry and/or trans-abdominal fetal pulse oximetry using physiological characteristics and/or a calibration factor may receive a physiological characteristic of a pregnant mammal and determine one or more potential impact(s) of the physiological characteristic on a behavior of an optical signal projected into the abdomen of the pregnant mammal Then a calibration factor for the optical signal responsively to the impact. The calibration factor may then be used to calibrate a fetal detected electronic signal so that a level of fetal hemoglobin oxygen saturation may be determined.
