A silicone grease composition having high friction characteristics and wear characteristics is disclosed. The silicone grease composition is provided by adding a zinc salt (B) containing, at a mass ratio from 1:99 to 99:1, a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (B1) and a zinc dialkyldithiocarbamate (B2) as an extreme-pressure additive to a silicone oil (A). A method for transmitting torque of a clutch or a torque limiter mechanism is also disclosed.

The present invention relates to a coating composition that can produce an article having an inner surface and an outer surface, both of which are slippery, and a method for preparing the same. By using the coating composition according to the present invention, it is possible to produce the article having the inner surface and the outer surface, both of which are slippery, only with a simple process of molding and curing a polymer resin by the technique of the prior art. The article produced using the coating composition of the present invention can solve an ice removal on a surface of the machinery such as an aircraft and an automobile, a biofouling problem in a blood vessel, a problem requiring self-cleaning, and the like, and thus can be used in various industries.

A non-water-based tire lubricant includes a thickening agent and a thinning agent. The thickening agent may be a silicone grease, hydrotreated light petroleum distillates, or hydrogenated liquid rosin ester, and the thinning agent may be a blend of petroleum distillates and additives or a silicone liquid. The tire lubricant has a pliable consistency, is easier to apply and use than standard tire lubricants, allows the tire to seal at much lower pressures, and is not water-based so that nitrogen concentrations inside the tire are maintained at 100 percent.

Novel, lubricious coatings for medical devices are disclosed. The coatings provide improved lubricity and durability, and are readily applied in coating processes. The present invention is also directed to a novel platinum catalyst for use in such coatings. The catalyst provides for rapid curing, while inhibiting cross-linking at ambient temperatures, thereby improving the production pot life of the coatings.
