Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate containing detergent compositions
A detergent composition and a method of washing/cleaning urushiol at least partially, more typically substantially or completely off a surface of human skin or clothing. The detergent composition is typically a non-buffered composition that contains one or more C12 surfactants, typically at least a sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and the detergent composition is typically free of one or more of (1) any nonylphenol ethoxylate; (2) any pharmaceutically active drug or prodrug; (3) any salt in an amount that affects the functional characteristics of either of the solely C12 surfactants; (4) any salt in granular form; and/or (5) any ethoxylate that is a stand-alone ingredient.
ENDOSCOPE CLEANING WITH VISCOELASTIC LIQUID
The invention relates to compositions and methods for reducing biocontaminant (for example flesh, blood, mucous, faeces or biofilm) on a surface, such as an endoscope surface. The compositions are viscoelastic and of low lubricity, having the following properties at 21° C.: a rotational yield point between 140% strain and 300% strain; a peak viscosity between 550 Pa.Math.s and 2000 Pa.Math.s; an oscillatory flow point between 250 and 700% strain; and a coefficient of friction μ which has a maximum value (preferably 0.06 or greater) in the viscoelastic liquid's elastohydrodynamic region.
DISPERSION AND METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR PREPARING THE SAME
A dispersion includes a zinc oxide component, and an aromatic polyol which is represented by Formula (I) and which has terminal hydroxyl groups that form chelating bonds with zinc atoms of the zinc oxide component,
##STR00001##
wherein p and q are independently integers ranging from 1 to 40. A method for preparing the dispersion includes heating a composition including the aromatic polyol and a zinc-containing salt, so that the zinc-containing salt undergoes nucleophilic reaction and condensation reaction to form the zinc oxide component. A composition for preparing the dispersion is also disclosed.
WATER-SOLUBLE UNIT DOSE ARTICLE CONTAINING A CORE/SHELL CAPSULE
Water-soluble unit dose article containing a laundry detergent composition containing a capsule having a core and a shell.
Product having ultraviolet radiation protection
A product for incorporating ultraviolet radiation protection and antimicrobial protection into a synthetic polymer is disclosed which has a quantity of zinc oxide particles modified with a layer of a reactive group that forms a bond with a quantity of synthetic polymer chips having C—H bonds. A product for incorporating ultraviolet radiation protection and antimicrobial protection into a synthetic polymer prior to forming a synthetic material is also disclosed which has a quantity of synthetic polymer chips and a quantity of zinc oxide particles modified with a layer of a reactive group that forms a bond with the quantity of the synthetic polymer chips.
Washing Agent With Improved Optical And Rheological Properties
A flowable washing agent preparation containing, based on the total weight thereof, i) 20 to 80 wt. % surfactant; ii) 2 to 15 wt. % fatty acid; iii) 0.3 to 8 wt. % of the salt of a divalent cation; iv) 0.01 to 2 wt. % pigment; v) 8 to 35 wt. % solvent; and a washing method using same.
SURFACE, MATERIAL AND PERSONAL CLEANING FORMULATION COMPRISING NANOSTRUCTURED PARTICLES
Formulations comprising a nanostructured particles consisting of a solid acid, made of mixed oxides of silica and titania (TiO.sub.2—SiO.sub.2); supporting in its dispersed matrix: copper, silver, gold, iron, rutenium, rhodium, cobalt, zinc, palladium, zinc, manganese, iridium and/or platinum metals at minimal concentrations, and at least one functionalizing agent in contact with the particle, for use as a surface, material and personal cleaner.
Compositions comprising taurate surfactants and methods of using the compositions
A bar soap composition is made from ingredients comprising: at least one cleanser chosen from soap and a first surfactant; and at least one taurate surfactant chosen from a salt of a fatty acid amide of taurine, a salt of a fatty acid amide of N-methyl taurine, and combinations thereof. The taurate surfactant is different than the first surfactant. The composition is in a solid bar form. Other personal care and home care products that include the taurate surfactants are also disclosed.
PRODUCT HAVING ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION PROTECTION
A product for incorporating ultraviolet radiation protection and antimicrobial protection into a synthetic polymer is disclosed which has a quantity of zinc oxide particles with each particle having a surface, a paste, a quantity of synthetic polymer chips, and a quantity of a reactive group for modifying each surface of each zinc oxide particle, the quantity of the reactive group sufficient for forming a bond with the quantity of synthetic polymer chips prior to the quantity of synthetic polymer chips being formed into a fiber.
Water-soluble solid or semi-solid dispersion of particles
Disclosed are solid or semisolid compositions the including finely divided particles and a water-soluble matrix that dissolves and disperses the particles when in contact with water. Also disclosed are kits for reducing and/or inhibiting odor formation on garment. The kit include one or more containers, wherein at least one of the one or more container includes solid or semisolid compositions the including finely divided particles and a water-soluble matrix that dissolves and disperses the particles when in contact with water. An edible silver delivery system including the compositions is disclosed as are methods of delivering silver to a subject in need thereof.
