Laundry compositions comprising -guaiene and the use of -guaiene for the enhancement of the intensity of a fragrance.

A hard surface cleaning composition comprising: a) from about 1% to about 60% by weight of the composition of a surfactant system, wherein said surfactant system comprises an anionic surfactant and amphoteric/zwitterionic system wherein the amphoteric to zwitterionic weight ratio is from about 2:1 to about 1:2, wherein said amphoteric surfactant comprises an alkyl dimethyl amine oxide; and b) from about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of the composition of a cleaning amine of Formula(I):

##STR00001## wherein the radicals R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are independently selected from NH.sub.2, H, linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl having from about 1 to about 10 carbon atoms and n is from 1 to 3 and wherein at least one of the radicals is NH2.

Methods of treating bitumen-containing surfaces to improve surface friction are described. The method may include applying a non-caustic composition to the bitumen-containing surface, wherein the non-caustic composition is capable of dissolving components of the bitumen-containing surface, such as tar and oil. Following application of the non-caustic composition to the bitumen-containing surface, the method may further include steps of spraying the bitumen-containing surface with water and removing loose or loosened debris from the bitumen-containing surface. In some embodiments, water is sprayed at ultra high pressure, and in some embodiments, debris is removed through the use of cyclonic airflow.
