AMPHIPHILIC POLYSACCHARIDE DERIVATIVES AND COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING SAME

The disclosure relates to compositions comprising a polysaccharide derivative, wherein the polysaccharide derivative comprises a polysaccharide substituted with a) at least one hydrophobic group, and b) at least one hydrophilic group, wherein the polysaccharide is poly alpha-1,3-glucan, poly alpha-1,6-glucan, or poly alpha-1,3-1,6-glucan.

SOLUBLE LAUNDRY SHEET COMPRISING POLYOL OR METAL ION CHLORIDE

The present invention provides a water-soluble laundry sheet comprising a detergent ingredient for laundry, a water-soluble film-forming polymer, and an alkali binder, wherein the laundry sheet comprises any one or more selected from the group consisting of polyols and metal ion chlorides. The present invention provides a water-soluble laundry sheet with enhanced formulation stability, storage stability, and sheet solubility.

CLEANING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR REMOVING BAKED ON GREASE FROM FRYERS AND OTHER HOT SURFACES

Cleaning compositions and methods of use thereof for cleaning fryers and other hard surfaces soiled by grease, shortening, oils and other soils commonly encountered in the food service industry are disclosed. Cleaning compositions and methods of use which beneficially remove soils from vertical and/or inverted surfaces, reduce the cleaning time required for removing such difficult to remove and baked on soils, reduce exposure to hot surfaces by allowing cleaning at or near room temperature, reduce exposure to caustic chemicals, and/or eliminate the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) for use of the cleaning compositions are disclosed.

PEROXIDE COMPOSITION

A shelf stable laundry or hard surface composition comprising hydrogen peroxide is disclosed. The composition can be in the form of a thickened liquid or a gel that can support solid particles and is stable over a normal product shelf life against both precipitation of the particles and degradation of the peroxide and can tolerate a wide range of additional cleaning ingredients.

CHITOSAN BASED COATING SYSTEM

A chitosan based coating system. The coating system includes a carrier agent and a chitosan based agent preservative. The carrier agent may be a cleaning agent, a polishing agent, and/or a finishing agent. The chitosan based agent may be a chitosan acetate and salts thereof, chitosan citrate acetate and salts thereof, or combinations thereof. The coating system may include 0.01-5 weight percent chitosan based agent. The chitosan based agent functions as a preservative to increase both the shelf-life and use-life of the coating system as well as functions as a chelating agent to reduce soap scum.

COMPOSITION

The present invention relates to a composition capable of improving properties of cleaning a dirt during cleaning.

The composition of the present invention is a composition containing a modified hydroxyalkyl cellulose (A) and a cationic surfactant (B), wherein the modified hydroxyalkyl cellulose (A) has a cationic group and a hydrophobic group represented by a formula (1), each of which is bound to a group resulting from eliminating a hydrogen atom from a hydroxy group of the hydroxyalkyl cellulose; a degree of substitution of the hydroxyalkyl group in the hydroxyalkyl cellulose is 0.1 or more and 3 or less; and a content of the cationic surfactant (B) is more than 1 part by mass and 1,500 parts by mass or less relative to 1 part by mass of the modified hydroxyalkyl cellulose (A).
