Composition for surface modification
The present invention relates to a composition for surface modification. The composition for surface modification according to the present invention contains a particular carbodiimide-based compound, thus forms a covalent bond without damaging skin, hair, or fabric, and semipermanently provides desired skin or hair surface modification effects or fabric care effects.
Antimicrobial poly(alkylated imidazolium) salts
Disclosed herein are polymers containing repeating units of formula (I) or copolymers containing the repeating units of formula (I) and (II), where R.sup.1 to R.sup.12, m, n, p, q, x and y are as defined herein. The polymers and copolymers have an antimicrobial effect and may be used therapeutically or in formulations intended for use as detergents.
PROCESS OF ROTATIONALLY MIXING A LIQUID COMPOSITION THAT INCLUDES A CONSUMER PRODUCT ADJUNCT INGREDIENT
Processes related to rotationally mixing a liquid composition that includes a consumer product adjunct ingredient, for example by subjecting the composition to multiple rotation cycles that include horizontally rotating the composition in a first direction and in a second direction that is counter to the first direction. Related systems and apparatuses. Processes for making consumer products from compositions thusly mixed.
IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
Disclosed is an encapsulated composition comprising a perfume composition that is entrapped in a water-soluble matrix. The perfume composition comprises at least one biodegradable ingredient. The at least one biodegradable ingredient is present at a total concentration of at least 75 wt.-%, relative to the total weight of the perfume composition.
Cleaning article comprising multiple sheets and methods thereof
The present invention relates to a cleaning article that includes a cleaning article that includes melamine-formaldehyde foam. The melamine-formaldehyde foam includes at least two sheets and has a density above 12 kg/m.sup.3. Each sheet is from about 0.5 to about 4 mm in thickness and the static COF between two sheets is greater than 6. Additionally the present invention encompasses processes for making and methods for cleaning hard surfaces with a cleaning article according to the present invention.
POWDER DETERGENT COMPOSITION
Described herein is a powder detergent composition including a detergent active material including at least a surfactant system, and a granulated powder. The granulated powder includes particles made of: (a) a water soluble polymer matrix, and (b) an oil phase including a perfume dispersed in the water soluble polymer matrix, the oil being at least partly encapsulated in microcapsules. The granulated powder includes up to 30% by weight of encapsulated oil based on the total weight of the powder.
Home care compositions
Described herein are fabric care compositions comprising an esterquat, and a carbodiimide; along with methods of making and using same.
POLYMERIC ACTIVE INGREDIENTS WHICH IMPROVE DETERGENCY
Described herein are methods of using amino-based alkoxylates for improving the cleaning power of laundry detergent compositions.
Cleaning composition for semiconductor substrate
A composition for cleaning a semiconductor substrate contains: a novolak resin; an organic acid not being a polymeric compound; and a solvent. A solid content concentration of the composition is no greater than 20% by mass. The organic acid is preferably a carboxylic acid. The carboxylic acid is preferably a monocarboxylic acid, polycarboxylic acid or a combination thereof. The molecular weight of the organic acid is preferably from 50 to 500. The content of the organic acid with respect to 10 parts by mass of the novolak resin is preferably from 0.001 parts by mass to 10 parts by mass. The solvent includes preferably an ether solvent, an alcohol solvent, or a combination thereof. The proportion of the ether solvent, the alcohol solvent, or the combination thereof in the solvent is preferably no less than 50% by mass.
PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF MICROCAPSULES
The present invention relates to a new process for the preparation of microcapsules. Microcapsules obtainable by said process are also an object of the invention. Perfuming compositions and consumer products comprising said capsules, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products, are also part of the invention.
