A polymer comprising a first fraction and a second fraction, wherein the first fraction comprises from 90 to 100 wt % polymerized C.sub.3-C.sub.6 carboxylic acid monomer units; and the second fraction comprises from 30 to 80 wt % polymerized C.sub.3-C.sub.6 carboxylic acid monomer units and from 20 to 70 wt % polymerized sulfonic acid monomer units; wherein the first fraction is from 10 to 40 wt % of the polymer and the second fraction is from 60 to 90 wt % of the polymer; the polymer has M.sub.w from 3,000 to 30,000; and monomers are randomly distributed within each fraction.

An automatic dishwashing composition is provided including a builder selected from the group consisting of carbonate, bicarbonate, citrate, silicate and mixtures thereof; a nonionic surfactant; and a dispersant polymer comprising: (a) 5 to 75 wt % of structural units of itaconic acid; (b) 10 to 85 wt % of structural units having formula I ##STR00001##
wherein each R.sup.3 is independently selected from a hydrogen and a —C(O)CH.sub.3 group; and (c) 10 to 65 wt % of structural units of (meth)acrylic acid; wherein the dispersant polymer has a lactone end group and wherein the dispersant polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 1,500 to 6,000.

A solid free-flowing particulate laundry detergent composition can include a particle, wherein the particle includes a continuous phase and a discontinuous phase, wherein the continuous phase includes fatty material selected from: fatty acid and/or salts thereof; fatty alcohol; and any combination thereof, wherein the discontinuous phase includes: non-ionic and/or anionic emulsifier surfactant; hydrophobized polyethylene glycol polymer; silicone and/or petrolatum; and perfume.
PERFUME MICROENCAPSULATION
According to the invention, a core-shell microcapsule is provided comprising a cross-linked polymeric shell encapsulating a perfume-containing core, wherein the cross-linked polymeric shell is the reaction product of a functionalized polysiloxane, a polyisocyanate and a polyamine and wherein the functionalized polysiloxane comprises a polysiloxane backbone, one or more ethoxylated alcohol side chains and one or more substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aliphatic cycloalkyl side chains.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYSUCCINIMIDE DERIVATIVES-BASED MICROCAPSULES
Described herein is a new process for the preparation of polysuccinimide derivatives-based core-shell microcapsules. Also described are microcapsules, as well as perfuming compositions and consumer products including these microcapsules, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products.
Particulate fabric care composition
A composition including a plurality of particles, wherein the particles include: about 25% to about 99% by weight a water soluble carrier; and about 1% to about 75% by weight a graft copolymer; wherein the graft copolymer includes: (a) a polyalkylene oxide which has a number average molecular weight of from about 1000 to about 20,000 Da and is based on ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, or butylene oxide; (b) N-vinylpyrrolidone; and (c) vinyl ester derived from a saturated monocarboxylic acid containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; wherein each of the particles has a mass from about 1 mg to about 1 g.
COMBINATION OF A SULFONATED SURFACTANT COMPOSITION AND STAR MACROMOLECULES
The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one sulfonated surfactant composition and one or more multi-arm star macromolecules having a core and a plurality of polymeric arms, and methods of preparing and using the same. In one aspect of the invention, this composition is capable of increasing the viscosity, and/or temperature-stability to an aqueous system.

DISHWASHING DETERGENT FORMULATIONS COMPRISING POLYASPARTIC ACID AND GRAFT POLYMERS BASED ON OLIGO- AND POLYSACCHARIDES AS FILM INHIBITING ADDITIVES
Described herein is a dishwashing detergent formulation, including (a) 1-15% by weight of the total composition of (a1) at least one of polyaspartic acid or modified polyaspartic acid or salts thereof, and (a2) at least one graft copolymer composed of wherein the weight ratio of (a1):(a2) is from 20:1 to 1:12; (b) 0-60% by weight of complexing agent; (c) 0.1-80% by weight of builders and/or cobuilders; (d) 0.1-20% by weight of nonionic surfactants; (e) 0-30% by weight of bleaches and bleach activators; (f) 0-10% by weight of enzymes and enzyme stabilizers; and (g) 0-50% by weight of additives.
