Consumer and industrial 2-in-1 cleaning compositions providing both detergency and rinseability in a single cleaning composition are disclosed. Alkaline-based cleaning compositions containing a surface modification polymer and an alcohol alkoxylate nonionic surfactant, and methods of using the same provide user-friendly, solid, detergent compositions without the need for using a separate rinse aid composition.

The composition comprises a plurality of capsules, each capsule comprising an amphiphilic material encapsulating a substance, such as an active ingredient. The substance is releasable from encapsulation by a change in the amphiphilic material triggered by a change in the environment around the capsule.
Liquid acidic hard surface cleaning compositions providing improved maintenance of surface shine, and prevention of water marks and splash marks
The need for an acidic hard surface cleaning composition which provides further improvements in the maintenance of surface shine, especially the prevention of water marks and splash marks, is met by formulating the hard surface cleaning combination with a combination of surface modification polymer and crystal growth inhibiting polymer.
Detergent composition having reduced turbidity
A detergent composition includes: A. a co-polymer of diallyldimethylammonium chloride and acrylic acid in an amount of from about 0.05 to about 1 weight percent actives; B. sodium and/or potassium chloride in an amount of greater than about 0.5 up to about 5 weight percent actives; C. a surfactant component in an amount of from about 8 to about 30 weight percent actives and comprising: (1) an alcohol ethoxy sulfate in an amount of from about 0 to about 60 weight percent actives; (2) an alkoxylated alcohol in an amount of from about 0 to about 90 weight percent actives; (3) a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate in an amount of from about 0 to about 90 weight percent actives; wherein at least two of said (1) alcohol ethoxy sulfate, said (2) alkoxylated alcohol, and said (3) linear alkylbenzene sulfonate are present in an amount of greater than zero; and D. water.
DISINFECTANT COMPOSITION
A disinfectant cleaning composition, the composition comprising: a nitrogen containing biocidal compound; a polymer comprising monomers of the following formulae: a) H2CCR1-CONHR2-N+R3R4R5X wherein R1 represents hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl; R2 represents linear or branched C1-C12 alkylene; R3, R4 and R5, independently of one another, each represent hydrogen, C1-C18 alkyl or phenyl; and X represents an anion selected from the group consisting of halide, sulfate, alkylsulfate, hydroxide, phosphate, acetate and formate; b) 40-75% by weight of N-isopropylacrylamide, based on the water-soluble polymer; c) acrylic and/or methacrylic acid and/or salts thereof; and d) H2CCRCONHCRRRSO3H, and salts thereof; wherein R, R and R independently represent hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkylene, and R independently represents C1-C4 alkyl or C1-C4 alkylene.

ZWITTERIONIC POLYMER-CONTAINING COMPOSITIONS FOR COATING METALLIC SURFACES, METHODS, AND ARTICLES
The present disclosure is directed to compositions and methods for coating, particularly protecting and optionally cleaning, metallic surfaces, and articles containing such surfaces; wherein the compositions include a zwitterionic polymer including pendant zwitterionic moieties, an inorganic silicate, and water.
LONG LASTING DISINFECTANT CLEANING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure provides an antimicrobial composition that includes: an antimicrobial component having at least one quaternary ammonium compound; a synthetic polymer that includes: at least one cationic monomer A.sub.b, optionally, at least one anionic monomer B.sub.a, and optionally, at least one non-ionic monomer C.sub.a; an organic acid; and a surfactant selected from cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants and combinations thereof; and at least one non-ionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of low hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) non-ionic surfactants with a delocalized electronic structure that have moderate to poor water solubility. This composition when applied to a surface demonstrates good cleaning ability and provides robust long lasting disinfection.
DETERGENT FORMULATION CONTAINING MIXED-CHARGE POLYMERS
A detergent formulation comprises 0.5 to 10 weight-percent mixed-charge polymer and one to 10 weight-percent nonionic surfactant, where weight-percent is relative to total detergent formulation weight, and wherein the mixed-charge polymer comprises quaternary ammonium groups and carboxylate groups extending as pendant side groups from the polymer backbone.
MONOMERIC COUNTERION PAIRS AND MIXED-CHARGE POLYMERS MADE THEREFROM
A composition contains ethylenically unsaturated quaternary ammonium cations with ethylenically unsaturated carboxylate anion counterions and less than one mole-percent chloride relative to quaternary ammonium cations. Polymerization of the composition yields a mixed-charge polymer.
