Materials and methods for maintaining industrial, mechanical and restaurant equipment
The subject invention provides yeast-based products, as well as their use to improve industrial production and performance by, for example, efficiently cleaning contaminating and/or fouling substances such as FOG, biofilm, paraffin, and/or asphaltenes from industrial equipment.
Multi-core granules
A granule comprising (a) at least three cores comprising a biological active and a plasticizable polymer, wherein the cores are made of a material having an elongation upon break of at least 30%, and wherein the diameter of the cores is at least 50 μm and at most two thirds of the diameter of the granule; (b) a solid matrix interspacing the cores of (a), wherein the solid matrix is made of a material having an elongation upon break of less than 30%; and (c) optionally a coating consisting of one or more layer(s) surrounding the granule. A detergent composition comprising a detergent builder, a surfactant, and a granule as described. Use of the granule as a component in a process for manufacturing a detergent composition.
LAUNDRY COMPOSITION COMPRISING SPORES
A concentrated laundry composition which is dilutable in water to form a liquid laundry detergent composition wherein the concentrated composition includes a high level of surfactant, bacterial spores, and optionally a rheology modifier.
MICROBIOLOGICAL CLEANING FORMULATIONS
Microbiological cleaning formulations may include an aqueous solution of a microbial component comprising at least one sporogenous microbial species. The microbiological cleaning formulation may also include a nonionic surfactant. The microbiological cleaning formulations may further include additives, solvents, preservatives, stabilizers, and fragrance agents. The microbiological formulations are such that they may removes organic carcinogens from a surface of a material contaminated during firefighting-related activities or from exposure to organic carcinogens. Corresponding methods for removing organic carcinogens from a surface of a firefighting material may include applying the microbiological cleaning formulation on the surface of the firefighting material. Corresponding cleaning kits may include the microbiological cleaning formulation and an optional scrubbing element.
REDUCTION OF SURFACE TENSION, INTERFACIAL TENSION, AND CRITICAL MICELLE CONCENTRATION USING A PROTEIN-BASED SURFACTANT SYNERGIST
Surfactant-containing compositions are described which include a protein component that has the effect of improving the surface-active properties of the surfactants contained in the compositions. The surfactant-containing compositions having the protein component demonstrate significantly lower critical micelle concentrations (CMC), reduced surface tensions, and reduced interfacial tensions than do comparable compositions having no protein component. In addition, the surfactant-containing compositions having the protein component has the effect of converting greasy waste contaminants to surface active materials.
COMPOSITION, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TREATING STAINS AND ODORS
The present disclosure is directed to a composition and method for treating stains and odors using an oxidizing agent and Bacillus spores. The composition preferably comprises a two part formula, a first part comprising the oxidizing agent and water and optionally an ionic surfactant and fragrance, and a second part comprising a liquid Bacillus spores composition or a dry Bacillus spores powder composition. The preferred Bacillus can include B. licheniformis, B. subtilis, B. pumilus, and B. megaterium spores. The preferred oxidizer is hydrogen peroxide. The parts of the treatment composition are mixed together in-situ at the site of treatment to maintain the viability of the Bacillus spores. The preferred composition and method allow for the combined treatment of stains and odors with an oxidizer and Bacillus spores.
Lactobacillus paracasei ET-22 and use thereof
The present application relates to a Lactobacillus paracasei ET-22 strain and use thereof. The present application provides a Lactobacillus paracasei ET-22 strain with a deposit number of CGMCC No. 15077, a composition containing the strain and a method of treating a subject using the strain. The present application also relates to a method for treating a subject, including administering an effective amount of the Lactobacillus paracasei ET-22 strain to a subject in need thereof for 1) whitening teeth and/or inhibiting oral pathogens; 2) adjusting balance of flora in the subject; 3) promoting growth of bifidobacteria and/or lactic acid bacteria; and/or 4) enhancing immunity of the subject.
Enzyme based products for car washes
The present invention relates to a liquid composition soluble in water or other polar substance and its use for vehicle cleansing and care, in particular for all the treatments provided in the washing steps of vehicles. The composition comprises at least one active enzymatic component.
CLEANING COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to compositions such as cleaning compositions comprising a mix of enzymes. The invention further relates, use of compositions comprising such enzymes in cleaning processes.
