Environmentally biodegradable microcapsules
Disclosed is a composition including controlled release particles, wherein each of the controlled release particles includes: (a) a core including at least one hydrophobic active ingredient; and (b) a wall at least partially surrounding the core and including the reaction products of: (i) an organofunctional silane; (ii) an epoxy; (iii) an amine; (iv) an isocyanate; (v) an epoxide curing agent; wherein the controlled release particles are effective to retain the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient upon exposure to water and effective to release the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient in response to friction. A method for preparing the composition is also disclosed.
POLYAMIDE MICROCAPSULES
The present invention relates to polyamide microcapsules. A process for the preparation of polyamide microcapsules is also an object of the invention. Perfuming compositions and consumer products comprising said microcapsules, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products, are also part of the invention.
AQUEOUS MICROCAPSULE DISPERSION
The invention relates to [1] an aqueous microcapsule dispersion containing a component (A): microcapsules each having a shell and a core containing at least one organic compound inside the shell, and a component (B): a surfactant containing a quaternary ammonium salt compound represented by the general formula (1), wherein the ratio by mass of the content of the component (A) to the content of the component (B) [component (A)/component (B)] is 0.1 or more and 20 or less, and [2] a dispersant for microcapsules, containing a surfactant that contains a quaternary ammonium salt compound represented by the general formula (1).
LAUNDRY COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a plurality of particles, wherein said particles comprise: 30 to 95 wt. % polyethylene glycol, wherein the polyethylene glycol has a weight average molecular weight from 4000 to 12000; 0.1 to 60 wt. % secondary carrier, wherein the secondary carrier is provided in the form of particles, the particles having a volume average particle size of 35 to 75 μm; and 0.1 to 30 wt. % perfume materials. The present invention also relates to a method of producing the particles and use of particles the particles.
PROCESS FOR MAKING A PARTICULATE LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION
A process for making a particulate laundry detergent composition, the process includes the steps: (a) contacting water, starch, acid and perfume to form a concentrated aqueous acidic mixture, the concentrated acidic mixture includes: (i) from about 20 wt % to about 60 wt % starch; (ii) from about 10 wt % to about 50 wt % acid; (ii) from about 2 wt % to about 20 wt % perfume; (iv) from 10 wt % to less than about 45 wt % water; the concentrated acidic mixture has a pH of less than about 4.5; (b) subjecting the concentrated acidic mixture to a perfume emulsification step to emulsify the perfume to form an emulsified perfume mixture in fluid form; and (c) spraying the emulsified perfume mixture in fluid form onto base detergent particles so that the emulsified perfume mixture at least partially coats the base detergent particles to form the particulate laundry detergent composition, the base detergent particles includes from about 4 wt % to about 60 wt % detersive surfactant.

The present invention relates to treatment compositions containing polymer systems that provide stability and benefit agent deposition as well as methods of making and using same. Such treatment compositions may be used for example as through the wash and/or through the rinse fabric enhancers as well as unit dose treatment compositions.
Porous protein particles as carriers for actives
Disclosed are high-porosity protein particles useful for carrying one or more agents of interest, methods for their manufacture and use, and products comprising them.
Non-spherical microcapsule
Disclosed is a non-spherical microcapsule comprising a core comprising fatty ester having a melting point of at least 30° C. and a benefit agent; a shell comprising nanoparticles having a diameter of 10 to 300 nm.
Polyurea capsules cross-linked with chitosan
An improved process of forming polyurea and chitosan microcapsules encapsulating a benefit agent is described. The process comprises forming a water phase comprising hydrolyzing chitosan in an acidic medium at a pH of 6.5 or less for an extended period and combining with a polyisocyanate. The reaction product of the hydrolyzed chitosan and polyisocyanate yields a microcapsule having improved release characteristics, with enhanced degradation characteristics in OECD test method 301B.
Core-Shell Microcapsule with a Polyamine-Based Thermosetting Shell
A core-shell microcapsule comprising a core containing a functional ingredient and a shell surrounding or at least partially surrounding said core, the shell comprising a thermosetting resin formed by the reaction of shell-forming monomers comprising a polyamine and a material comprising a plurality of olefinic double bonds capable of reacting with the polyamine.
