Provided are compositions containing alkyl esters derived from triglyceride oils produced from genetically engineered microalgae. Specific embodiments relate to esters derived from oils with high C10-C12 fatty acid profile. Compositions comprising the esters include cleaning products, completion fluids, work-over fluids, drilling fluids, metal working fluids, lubricants, paints, and inks.

Non-aqueous cleaner for vegetable oil soils

The invention discloses cleaning compositions which employ a synergistic combination of an ester solvent, preferably a fatty acid methyl ester in combination with one or more linear alkyl amines. The alkyl amines act as to remove and suspend organic oils which have been burnt or adhered to a surface with heat and may even be used alone as a soil removal agent. The cleaning compositions have particular use in cleaning of distillation towers associated with biofuel, and vegetable oil refining, but also find use in cleaning ovens, food cooking surfaces and even dry cleaning.

An object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning liquid that effectively removes in a short time organic residues and abrasive grains derived from a slurry in a semiconductor substrate in which a Co contact plug and/or Co wiring are present.

The present invention relates to a cleaning liquid composition for cleaning a substrate having a Co contact plug and/or Co wiring, which contains one or more reducing agents and water. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a cleaning liquid composition for cleaning a substrate having Co and not having Cu, which contains one or more reducing agents and water and has a pH of 3 or more and less than 12.

Functional fluid

A functional fluid useful as an emulsion in a cleaning product or a personal care product is the esterification reaction product of a) a triglyceride or a fatty acid or a methyl ester of a fatty acid, and b) an alcohol which comprises b1) a polyglycerol having at least 3 glycerol units (preferably polyglycerol-4), and b2) glycerol and/or diglycerol. The functional fluid is effective as a stabilizer and as an emulsifier for o/w and w/o emulsions. When a triglyceride is used as a reactant, glycerol and fatty acids are generated in situ by an interesterification reaction. Preferred functional fluids provide the significant benefit that they may be mixed into an oil phase and in a water phase before such phases are mixed together, and that such processing may be carried out at ambient temperature.

A polyimide-based resin film cleaning liquid includes at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy aliphatic carboxylic acid ester, an aliphatic carboxylic acid ester, a chain or cyclic ketone, an alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether, an alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether acetate, and an aprotic polar solvent other than these solvents.

PURGING AGENT

A purging agent that has excellent purging performance without generation of aggregate is disclosed as a purging agent used in a purging operation where a resin to be processed contains a polar group-containing thermoplastic resin. This purging agent contain a hydrocarbon-based resin, and at least one metal salt among an alkaline metal salt and alkaline earth metal salt, has a water content of 0.15% by weight or less, and includes 0.1 to 20% by weight of the metal salt expressed as the metal relative to the hydrocarbon-based resin.

Compositions and methods for dental applications involving zinc-oxide cements

Described are compositions and methods for the removal of zinc-oxide eugenol-based temporary cements or root canal filling materials from a variety of surfaces including surfaces inside the oral cavity, such as teeth, as well as surfaces of objects located outside of the oral cavity, such as instruments and prostheses. In certain compositions, the resin-dentin bond between permanent cements and collagen-containing surfaces can be increased. The compositions are non-toxic, can be used inside the oral cavity, and do not require special disposal procedures.
