DETERGENTS AND CLEANING AGENTS HAVING IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
A method for use of substituted dihydroxyterephthalic acid amides in detergents and cleaning agents, for improving detergent or cleaning performance with respect to bleachable stains.
Hard surface cleaning composition
A composition for use as a hard surface cleaner, sanitizer and/or disinfectant is disclosed. The composition according to one embodiment comprises an arylsulfonic acid, a source of peroxide, an effective amount of a stabilizer and water. A method is provided of cleaning, disinfecting and/or sanitizing a hard surface, the method comprising providing the composition, providing a surface which requires cleaning and applying the composition onto the surface for a duration of time sufficiently long enough to destroy micro-organisms present on the surface.
USE OF DI-IONIC COMPOUNDS AS CORROSION INHIBITORS IN A WATER SYSTEM
Disclosed herein are the methods of using di-cationic or di-anionic compounds, which are derived from primary amine through an aza-Michael addition with an activated olefin, in a corrosion control composition to mitigate corrosion of a surface in a water system. The disclosed methods or compositions are found to be more effective than those methods or compositions including commonly used single quaternary compounds for mitigating corrosion for a metal surface in water systems.
MOLECULES HAVING ONE HYDROPHOBIC GROUP AND TWO IDENTICAL HYDROPHILIC IONIC GROUPS AND COMPOSITIONS THEREOF AND METHODS OF PREPARATION THEREOF
A novel class of compounds is described here. The disclosed novel compounds have one hydrophilic group and two identical hydrophilic ionic groups. The two hydrophilic groups of the disclosed compounds contain or end with a cationic or anionic charged group. The disclosed novel compounds herein can be used as surfactants in an article, product, or composition, or for some other purposes. A method to synthesize the disclosed novel compounds is also described.
Polyimide-based resin film cleaning liquid, method for cleaning polyimide-based resin film, method for producing polyimide coating, method for producing filter, filter medium, or filter device, and method for producing chemical solution for lithography
A polyimide-based resin film cleaning liquid includes at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy aliphatic carboxylic acid ester, an aliphatic carboxylic acid ester, a chain or cyclic ketone, an alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether, an alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether acetate, and an aprotic polar solvent other than these solvents.
Cleaning Agent for Removal of Soldering Flux
A composition effective for removing solder fluxes either as a concentrated material or when diluted with water. The composition is effective in removing all types of solder fluxes including rosin type, resin type, no-clean, low residue, lead-free, organic acid and water soluble soldering fluxes. The composition comprises isopropylidene glycerol and an alkali and has a pH of greater than 7.5. The composition may contain additional optional solvents and additives to enhance cleaning of articles or to impart other properties to the composition. The composition can be contacted with a surface to be cleaned in a number of ways and under a number of conditions depending on the manufacturing or processing variables present.
Cleaning composition comprising an alkyl hydroxybutyrate and method of cleaning air intake valve deposits
A cleaning composition is particularly suited for cleaning dirty intake valves. The cleaning composition includes a high solvency surfactant/solvent which has a Kb greater than 100 or polar Hansen solubility parameter greater than 6. The surfactant/solvent is combined with a carrier such as water or an organic carrier and a surfactant. A wetting agent may also be employed. The cleaning composition is added to the intake air as a mist as the engine is running. Aqueous and non-aqueous versions are disclosed.
AGENT, LIQUID, AND METHOD FOR CLEANING REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE
Provided is an agent and a liquid for cleaning an RO membrane to remove effectively foulants that can not be sufficiently removed with conventional cleaning agents when an RO membrane particularly an aromatic polyamide RO membrane has been used for water treatment and has become fouled resulting in degradation of performance such as permeation flux, pressure difference, and salt rejection rate. The agent for cleaning an RO membrane includes an aliphatic amide and/or an aromatic amide. Also provided is a method for cleaning an RO membrane with the cleaning agent or the cleaning liquid. The aliphatic amide and/or the aromatic amide particularly an aliphatic amide and/or an aromatic amide being soluble in water and having a relatively low molecular weight remove effectively foulants adhered on an aromatic polyamide RO membrane.
Agricultural and detergent compositions containing a tertiary amide as adjuvant or as surfactant
The invention relates to agrochemical compositions comprising new biodegradable bisaminopropylamides of formula (I) ##STR00001##
or of formula (II) ##STR00002##
and to their uses in detergent compositions. In the agrochemical compositions the bisaminopropylamides act as adjuvant for the agrochemically active compounds such as pesticides, growth regulators or fertilizers.
